Don't want to jinx the trip but.....

For the last few years we have been going to DL in Nov, the weather has always been awesome, the line ups no big deal, everything perfect, but someone in our group is now thinking maybe we should try and go in October, see it decorated for Halloween. But I don't know, are we pushing our luck to go three times at the same time of the year and expect great weather and okay line ups or do we try something different. What do you think?

Nov. is my favorite time of year at DLR. Great weather, low crowds, xmas decorations. IMO you can't hardly beat Nov.

Oct. is nice too though. The Halloween decorations are very cute (just got back a few days ago and saw them all) but they are just not IMO up to par with the Xmas ones. I've noticed that Oct. has been getting quite a bit busier too. A lot of the year round schools get a 2 week break in Oct. and it seems like a good deal of people use that break to go to DLR. As far as weather.. well it's Cali so it's always a crapshoot. We've gone when it was still 90 degrees. One time it rained 2 of the 4 days we were there. Another time the weather was perfect.

I guess if you really want to see the Halloween stuff & don't mind bigger crowds (that are still managable, just bigger) then I'd go ahead and try Oct. this year. But if you really like that holiday feel and the xmas decorations, I'd stick with Nov.

I wouldn't miss our October trip for anything! That's our favorite time to go!!!

October is our favorite time to go too although we have yet to see the park all decorated for Christmas. It's just really hard for us to get away that time of year.

We have a weekend planned.....the 25th-28th, and we have one planned for DD7's b-day in December!!!! the 14th-17th! She's soooooooooo excited!!! LOL We were also there in July, I'm hoping for good weather for all out trips but even if it rains we will be there!! LOL
