I can't believe I was so stupid that I threw away my 3x5 cards from last year. I followed a tip on this tip board, and made a 3x5 card for each day am and pm, on the front I had the park and which rides I was going on that day. On the back I had the PS and time for the PS. When we got back, I threw them away. No I am making up new ones since we will be there in 19 days. Double the work, instead of just copying from last year. If you do the 3x5 cards which are wonderful, make sure you hold on to them for future trips.

I did the cards last year for our trip. They were so helpful!! I never thought to save them for this trip!! Thanks for the tip, Rita!!

I make a printout of my PS's and the time and number and where it is and my flt info etc and then I cut the paper so its credit card sized and have it laminated. it fits into my little wallet card holder thingy and even if it gets wet its ok and I have all of my confirmation nbrs at my finger tips!(I fold the paper in half so its on both sides.......)

I printed ( on index stock) my notes on each attraction and the eating places we were interested in along with their ratings, etc. from a couple of different guide books. Cut them down to 3 X 5's and slipped them into the plastic recipe card sleeves to keep them clean and dry rather than laminating. I also coded them into an "A" and "B" list for the "can't miss" and the "filler stuff". We just got back and they really helped. I plan on making notes on them as to our experiences and will put them with our stuff for next time. Worked great.

I tried something similar to the 3" by 5" cards. In my case I used them as a way to inform the rest of my party what the day's plans were. There is one other member of my party who is interested in the pre-planning of the trip. The other two members of the party, while very opinionated, are rather ignorate as to the workings of the park.

We planned a very basic idea of what we planned on doing during the day (what parks we wanted to hit when, when the parks opened and closed, and possibly recommendations on where we could eat given our location).

There was still plenty of room in our schedule to make decisions on what to do with our time. (Having been there so many times we didn't bother to suggest attractions to go to at each of the parks, aside from new attractions.) That way the other two members of our party could add their input to the days events in a constructive way.

It was a very open-ended approach while still providing enough structure so that we could accomplish all we wanted to.

I have used the 3 x 5 index cards in the past. What I did was the different color cards . I then pick one color for each park and put the info on it. I am a trivia nut and I also put the things I was looking for on each card to remind of the things I wanted to find. By using the different colors if were in a hurry I could see I had the right cards for each park and did not have to carry all of them each day:rolleyes:
