DON'T Read This TRIP REPORT If You're a Princess Hater!

So what's your party character plan of attack? I think I've got
Ours worked up but I'm not sure when to hit the Tremaines.

Well, I'd love to hear your plan. Our plan is still definitely under construction. And remember, I cheat by going more than once. My husband will be along our first night and I know he won't want any part of waiting for the Dwarfs. So we'll do that Friday night. Since we'll be eating at CRT ahead of the Sunday party and Katie will be in her Cindy gown, I need to do the Tremaine photo op that night. I also want to catch Captain Jack. So we might start with Captain Jack then head back to FL for the Tremaines. I think both of those are fairly high demand targets, but not as high as the Dwarfs or the princesses. I also want to catch Donald that first night since my husband is a fan, but that's probably all the character waiting he'll put up with.

As soon as the first parade ends, we'll try to squeeze in near the castle for the Magic, Memories and You show. I'd like to move a little farther back for the fireworks and second parade. To be honest, we'll probably head out after the second parade.

Friday night we'll do the Dwarfs first. We'll probably head for the princess line after that so we're there during the parade. We'll need to do Belle and the Beast still too, but we can skip the parade and fireworks if we need to. We will have seen it already, and the friends we are with also have tickets for Sunday so they can see it then.

Like I said, I cheat. Going twice is a huge help.

Remind me which night you'll be there?

I am so excited for your trip!:lmao: I just want to see all of your FAB pictures and AWESOME costumes!

Awe! I took a break from Disboards (having a baby, moving 12 hours away, hubby got a new job, ect... things got busy for me!) and I just hopped on and saw your thread on the first page and thought "Surely not!!!" But it is! :woohoo:And you are going back! Gotta say, I'm sooo jealous! :snooty:I hope that you have a wonderful time! Can't wait to get back (mickey wants me back- he keeps sending me all kinds of mail:lovestruc) but getting to stay at home for a little bit with my girls are putting that on hold for a while.:sad1: Can't wait to hear how your next trip goes!!!

I'm so glad you found us when you made it back!

So what you're saying is that life is slow and you've been sort of bored? :rotfl:

I'm sure you want to get back to Disney, but enjoy your little coccoon a bit longer. You just don't get this time back. If it means Disney has to wait........well...... it's not going anywhere. You have LOTS of princess memories ahead of you! princess:

How old is the baby now? And more importantly ....... how is she SLEEPING?

Katie's greatest gift to me was sleeping through the night for the first time around 2 months of age. The boys were a LOT older before that happened. And man ........ I needed it. I'm absolutely convinced it's just because she figured out I couldn't get to her anyway, so why bother! :lmao: I remember those early months. School started at 7:45 for the boys, and I had to get them up and off after being up every 2 hours with her. It seemed like we just got back to sleep and....... boom. Time to get the boys up for school. I'm still not sure how I survived it. I do remember reminding myself a few times that nobody ever died from lack of sleep.........

She's sleeping pretty well, although, we've hit the teething stage- THAT is a lot of fun. She actually is showing signs of a possible food allergy (egg) so we've been dealing with that! She sleeps in most mornings and her big sister... well, lets just say things haven't much changed with her! Still up before the sun! Catie is now 7 months old. I cannot believe that a YEAR ago I was counting days til my Disney trip! :cloud9:

HEY!!! :yay: I jumped from this thread over to yours!! HAHA Congrats on becoming a TA! I am loving all your pictures from your first day- how did Claire let you go to Disney without her?!?! I am originally from GA (family is there) but we were living in Southern Mississippi at the time. Now we are living up in Indiana- WHEW is this a change in weather! It was cold, wet and FREEZING here today and it was 85 back where we had been!

And since you begged! :rotfl:
Here we are at Halloween. Now, let me just say, Cortlyn had wanted to be a "red flower" for Halloween and I searched the internet to find a RED flower... and you see what she was wearing on the first night of ToTing!!!! Edited to add! Catie has some Disney magic going on under her gloworm costume! It's a Mickey onesie!

We took the girls to the circus and they both LOVED it! :)

Cortlyn's first facepainting!

Catie wanted to scratch her sister's face off! Sooo cute!

Oh my goodness they are so big....and cute.

Where at in Indiana? I am in Ohio, about 1 1/2-2 hours away from Fort Wayne, Ind.

I would love to do two parties! We did once at Halloween after a CM found out DD fell asleep and missed the parade. She gifted us tickets to go again. Even then, we barely hit all of our characters - of course there's candy to collect too.

I think our plan is going to look do something like this - Dwarfs, Capt Jack, Tremaines, Belle and Beast, Abu and Ali, fairies. Or some concoction like that. I think I'm going to try the "hit the princess line right after fireworks/before second parade" idea someone mentioned. Part will come down to how busy the night seems to be too (Wed Nov 30). Id really like to get Donald, Peter and Wendy, and Pooh et all, too. Heck who am I kidding...I want them all!!

WOW! 7 months? Where did the time go? And what adorable girls you have. :goodvibes Thanks for sharing the photos!

How cool you got pixie-dusted at a Halloween party like that!

Your plan for MVMCP sounds like a good one. When do you get back? I'd love to hear how it all works out before we go!

It's just so hard to know what you can do, because there's just no way to know how bad it will be. Of course at least you have some hope of a decent crowd level. With us there the last week, I know going into it that the parties will be crazy busy. The 12/16 party is a slam-dunk to sell out. The other one we're attending is 12/11, a Sunday. I think it has a fair shot at being a reasonable crowd level, but my husband has a pretty low tolerance for waiting in character lines, so I'm not sure how much we'll get done that night.

We get back the 4th so I think before you leave. I'll let you know how it goes!

Oh my goodness they are so big....and cute.

We're in Terre Haute. I don't think we're that close, but I don't know my midwest geography very well...

WOW! 7 months? Where did the time go? And what adorable girls you have. :goodvibes Thanks for sharing the photos!
I know! 7 months and she's sitting up, and is SUCH a daddy's girl! Hates to see him go to work every day. Not sure why- it was ME that carried her for 9 months!!! :confused3

OMG, you KNOW that MP is my favorite. That is just STUNNING! Can you adopt me and my daughter?!!?!? :worship:

Aww... thanks! :goodvibes

The sad truth is that it probably would have been easier to make one for you than for Katie. She has officially entered "no man's land" for patterns..... too big for girl sizes, too little for adult sizes. And there's just not much in between. That one took a lot of pattern "hit and miss" before I got it right. I can't wait for our morning breakfast at 1900 PF!

Long time no talk! So I see you talking about parties during our time there...
What is the family plan while you are there, maybe we have days that over lap and Jenn and I could meet you and your family in a few weeks :goodvibes
