DON'T Read This TRIP REPORT If You're a Princess Hater!

Aww... thanks! :goodvibes

The sad truth is that it probably would have been easier to make one for you than for Katie. She has officially entered "no man's land" for patterns..... to big for girl sizes, to little for adult sizes. And there's just not much in between. That one took a lot of pattern "hit and miss" before I got it right. I can't wait for our morning breakfast at 1900 PF!

Oh well, if that's the case I'm a size 8! :rotfl:

Long time no talk! So I see you talking about parties during our time there...
What is the family plan while you are there, maybe we have days that over lap and Jenn and I could meet you and your family in a few weeks :goodvibes

Hey stranger!

Are you busy making wedding plans? :bride:

Our itinerary is earlier in the TR and believe it or not, has not changed since then. We're still toying with maybe going to the party for a while on the 13th as well. I just don't think we'll get everything done that I want on the 11th with my husband along. And I'd like to just enjoy the atmosphere a bit and not stay til the bitter end. But Friday's party is the only one we can get to with our friends. And I'm quite sure that one will sell out, making it hard to get a lot done.

Let me know if there's some overlap!

Thanks! Glad to be here!
You're very welcome. :) I'll look forward to read your next TR... but first the actual trip! :cool1: Hopefully I'll run into yall at some point!

If you see us, be sure to say hi! And yes, I'd like to not rush the "trip" part in a hurry to get to the "trip report" part! :lmao: Heck, I'd sort of like to freeze time right now with all the happy anticipation. I just don't want to get any closer to it being over.

Oh well, if that's the case I'm a size 8! :rotfl:

LOL! I'll get right on it! You know.... as soon as I'm all caught up on everything! :rotfl2:

Yes I am busy making plans, lots of fun complications since he is Catholic and well I'm non-denominational :sad2: I have been having to give up a lot, but on a side note I have already booked and confirmed our honeymoon, or should I say Disneymoon ::yes:: We are getting married on the Saturday the 25th of August, then leave Sunday night to drive to Estes Park for 4 nights at a suite/cabin as our mini-honeymoon. Then November 24th we will fly to Califorinia for a week in LA, with a 4 night stay at Disneyland (Carsland here we come) then on the 2nd of December we board our first Disney Cruise :hyper: We can't afford to stay at any of the Disney properties, but Lurkyloo suggest a nice MOD, which is actually closer then the Grand California. I'm so excited... I already ordered and received our Disney bride and groom hats, and have ordered a precious moments cake topper with almost the same hats :lovestruc So with all of the giving up I am doing for the ceremony, I made up for it with our honeymoon.

As per our schedules, it would seem that we will be at MK together on Tuesday and Friday :woohoo: So I think I speak for both Jenn and I that we would love to meet up and maybe chat over a dolewhip

I definitely will! I know EXACTLY what you mean! That's the worst part about it, it feels like it's over as soon as it starts! Maybe time will do us both a favor and just sloooow down for a bit. :rotfl:

If it wants to slow down right now that'd be fine!! Prolong your anticipation and my trip...double win!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING everyone!

May everyone have a day filled with family, food and fun! And may you not spend it cooped up in a kitchen somewhere!

It sounds like you have some great plans in the making. And that cake topper is adorable! Do keep us all posted on how the plans are going. Do you have a dress yet?

I think it would be grand to meet up with you sometime! Tuesday will probably work better since we'll be there with friends on Friday. And that day just got more complicated. Katie's friend just found out yesterday that her foot is broken! :scared1: She might be into some sort of a boot by then, but will definitely need a wheelchair! :scared1: Yikes! I'm not used to doing Disney at a wheelchair pace!

Are you guys doing the party Tuesday night? I'm thinking of adding that night because I just don't think we'll get a lot done on EITHER of our other 2 party nights now! (non-character loving husband along the first night, friend in wheelchair second night).

Thanks Carey! That's adorable! :goodvibes

OK, so it's settled. Time will freeze....... uhh...... let's see.......... Sunday? Does that work for you guys? I don't want to freeze it today. I love holidays and all, but they're so much work. I'd rather choose a day with less cooking involved.......

Sunday is good! Lots of good Epcot time. Hope everyone's had a great Thanksgiving

LOL! You know.......... now that it's Saturday...... I MIGHT be having second thoughts about this "freezing time" thing......... I might have to let it play out so I can actually GO on this dang trip! :lmao:

I posted a photo of Belle earlier, but finally have all the rhinestones and flowers on. She's ready to go!

Beautiful Belle dress! Don't worry, we don't have to freeze time. It probably wouldn't have worked anyway. :lmao:

Beautiful job on the dress.

I am in awe! That Belle dress is absolutely beautiful!

The Belle dress is beautiful!

Thanks for the kind comments on the Belle dress. Right now the plan is for Katie and her friend to wear yellow Belle gowns to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on the day we're there together. Her friend is wearing the one I made Katie last year. Then later in the day they'll change to the red Belle gowns for the party.

Yeah.... unfortunately I knew I'd never be able to stick with that plan. Now that it's getting closer, I'm just TOO excited!

Against my better judgment, I've been peeking at the 15 day forecast. I know.... I know..... not reliable in the least. But the point is ........... I CAN!!! Already there's rain showing on a couple of our early days. But no bitter cold yet. So we'll see........... I've been praying for warmer weather this year, but I probably should have prayed for dry weather too....... after our experience in the steady rain at AK last year.

The dress is gorgeous! I'm so looking forward to all of your photos!

I was checking forcasts so early it wasn't even funny when we went! It will be fine, I hope it's perfect for you!

Awe! Love the Belle dress too! And I'm hoping for warmer and drier temps for you!!! :littleangel: Last year was way too cold!!!

Whew !! Found this TR last week and FINALLY made it through !

Beautiful pictures (but you knew that) and outstanding costumes !!
Katie is such a doll and a real Disney trooper.
I remember last year as being SO cold, I wasn't there but had friends visiting at the time and I felt SO bad that the weather had to be so cold.
But you 2 certainly made the best of it !

I sure hope you will share your upcoming trip with us with more terrific pics !

We're heading down at some point through Make a Wish .. but not sure when at all. So reading others TR is helping me get through this waiting period. :)
I'm hoping for a spring trip.

I want to go with you some day and have Claire be "the friend"....the one who wears Katies old dresses. :rotfl:
