Have I told you the story of Baylor's vacation with his dad, and the baloney sandwiches? I'll just clear the air here. I like sandwiches. Ham, turkey, roast beef, ham salad, egg salad, just not baloney. Marc on the other hand loves them....

I had a good mesquite grilled turkey sandwich the other day at home. I had time to put Miracle Whip Light and O'Charley's Honey Mustard on it. It was quite delicious. At school, one piece of thick sliced bologna takes about 3.2 seconds to do, so I go with that.

Was the 'Baylor and the Baloney' story on a holiday? Seems like I do remember you mentioning it, but I don't remember details.

Well, I have to say that I was disappointed to read that you will no longer be there in early June. Boo! I guess I will miss meeting Anita again. Bummer.

Jen - I love looking at space mountain with the lights on. It's so cool. It doesn't freak me out at all. Although, I did not ride in May because of my stupid headache. But I plan to be wooping it up in December!

When are your dates at Vero again? I am not set in stone. My WDW trip is 5/26-6-5. I could potentially go late June too. My schedule is flexible because I make my schedule.

Oh Jen I HEAR YOU on Space Mountain. My goddaughter tricked me in November last year & said it was smoother - yeah right!!! I won't be doing that again either!!

I still enjoy SM and will continue to ride until I can no longer stand it This actually became my niece's number one ride of the trip this time....even over TOT. So yeah....we rode it many, many times

Yeah for Baylor staying Good bribe tactic!! My Mom used to make fried bologna too....sounds nasty but I really liked them....in a pan she put a little butter and yellow mustard then fried the bologna and I ate them on buttered white bread. Very healthy

your room at POR is most lovely have never stayed on that side before...looked like a wonderful dinner, a place of yet to eat at too and i another thing you did that i have never is ride through SpMt (on the peoplemover) when the lights are on (see a trend ) that is cool and freaky at the same time...i guess that is why it is dark in there only go on every few trips, but i can see why you wouldn't want to ride.

looking forward to the rest of your solo adventures...has the oct TR started up yet I forget which Diser you said was going to do that

Oh no, all this talk about Space Mountain has me second guessing myself. Jeremy says he is going to give it a try in a few weeks but now I don't know if I want to. It has been ages since I rode that ride.

We are going to Vero after the cruise. We arrive on the 20th and head to Disney on the 24th or so the plan is for now. Since we are thinking of staying at Disney for an extra week, we may need to extend our Vero stay....

Just curious - was the whole sandwich fried, or just the bologna? I've heard of this, but never had it.

My DD8 loves baloney sandwiches - w/mayo, cheddar and lettuce too. But I don't think she'd live on them for long.

Just the bologna is fried. I know Hardee's around here, and some other fast food joint, had fried bologna biscuits over the summer.

I like them with mayo too but when I was little I ate them with yellow mustard.

All this talk of bologna, I might have to get some at the store!!

Actually I got Baylor to agree to the extra days if Kyle,(Keeley's boyfriend) gets the fireworks here in Kansas and saves them for him until we get home.
Kyle's family lives out in the county so we can go out there and explode them to our heart's content when we get back in town!
So how far away are you from the 7 month mark to make your reservations for Vero?

I rode Space Mountain with Ben during MNSSHP because there was no wait. I hadn't ridden since I was 14. It was really jerky, I thought, and since I have seen it with the lights on (like Jen while on People Mover) I didn't enjoy it one bit! John usually rides with him but it gives him a headache each time. He may be riding solo until Ellie gets brave enough to ride! I do ride all the other coasters with him and RNRR is my fave!

Anita-I can stop in SC and get you fireworks as we drive right through on our way!
