Don't Mess With My Toot Toot!! A Wigd and gang TR/PTR Upd: 12/7 pg.60 Going WILD!

The three of you looked so nice in that photo. I wanted to do the Cape May seafood, but it wasn't on the days that we will be there. I don't care for crab, just load me up with lobster & shrinp. DH can eat his weight in crablegs.:scared1:

And I say yes you must come!! I would so love to see you again Michelle!

Well, he did tell Anita on the cruise that he didn't care if I went, but I've come to the realization that he said that just because he didn't want to look like a turd in front of her

I would love to see you again too!

Marc had been looking at "Taste of Chicago" it sure looks like a must do! I was just online checking out the outlet malls and yes I want to get down to Michigan Avenue! On our list of possibilities are the Navy Pier, Shedd Aquarium, Museum of Natural History... There is no way we will have time for everything, so much to do and so little time.:cutie:

Oh we do have a segway tour planned as well, I forgot all about that!

Ooh, I love the Segway tour plan! So many things I've yet to do. Like experience the glass-floor observation Ledge at the Willis Tower (still the "Sears Tower" to most of us, or, as I like to call it, my personal Tower of Terror). I really want to go, but it's so scary! If you plan to go, think about getting a CityPass to save $$ and skip lines at many attractions, including Shedd Aquarium & Field Museum of Natural History, already on your wish list.

A fun freebie that should be on your must-do list: The Bean. Its official name is Cloud Gate, but it looks like a giant silver kidney bean. Really pretty, and makes cool pics reflecting surrounding buildings, or looking up at the middle of the underbelly from underneath.

When you're not strolling at Taste, you can check out restaurants on OpenTable's diner-voted favorites lists. Or just pick any Lettuce Entertain You restaurant. They're all pretty fab.

Attention, Shocker: Avert your eyes here, as I might happen to go into more "shop talk." :sad2: Anita, as I'm sure you noted, our only VB outlet is at the Aurora outlet mall, probably the best outlets. But if you're staying downtown, it's a bit of a drive, and rush-hour traffic could make for a looong return trip. Visiting outlets at either Huntley (tiny) or Gurnee (huge!) would let you return via a mall with a Disney store. :rolleyes1 Just saying ....

Hope your drive tomorrow is smooth & rain-free. Holler (or just PM me) if you need anything else. So excited for you to enjoy Chicago!

Oh, Jen, very excited for you and your prince, with the new job offer. Enjoy your new adventure!!!

OOOPS...I almost forgot we have a little contest for you guys!! As you know Anita, Marc, and Baylor did a little driving on this trip. SO...our contest is going to have a driving theme AND yes there is a prize involved!!!

Contest Question: (Without going over) From start to finish how many miles did Anita and Marc's Chrysler Pacifica travel overall????

The person whose guess is the closest without going over will be our winner and will win a properly themed gift!!!! Good Luck!!!

Anita, maybe Marc will forgive my shopping suggestion if I suggest some food he might like?........

.........if you're shopping on Michigan Avenue. (Oops! Sorry to bring up shopping again, Shocker, but this time, it's really about food.)

Attention, Shocker: Avert your eyes here, as I might happen to go into more "shop talk." :sad2: Anita, as I'm sure you noted, our only VB outlet is at the Aurora outlet mall, probably the best outlets. Congrats to your husband on the job! How exciting!

And I might as well through my guess in there...I say 3554.

Tracy, what day are you doing MNSSHP? Yes, I'm still planning this trip in my head that I haven't really even gotten DH approval for yet......... :rolleyes1

Yes, the 16th Michelle. :thumbsup2 Keep on planning that trip....besides you can now say you are going for informational purposes that you are a TA ;) Wouldn't it be in your best interest to go so that you can tell others about MNSSHP and the fall decorations? :rolleyes1

Tracy

Whew! Finally made it over! Great start so far!

Anita: I LOVE Chicago! The Shedd Aquarium is really cool and I had the best.pizza.EVER in Chicago. There really is so much to see and do there! Hope ya'll have a great trip!

I wanted to use a different word, but it wasn't so DIS friendly

I really, really want to come! I'm working on one of my best friends, trying to get her to come along - can you believe she's never been to WDW? :scared1:

Yeah, that would be a valid arguement if I hadn't already been to a MNSSHP and seen the fall decorations.........

I think you can write it off as a mission trip, then. We must enlighten the world about the magic, and this poor girl deserves to go. :wizard:

Yeah, that would be a valid arguement if I hadn't already been to a MNSSHP and seen the fall decorations.........

Yes, but there is the Fantasyland expansion that you must continue to personally check on, and Toontown, and Art of Animation....

All in the name of research for your job, of course. :thumbsup2
