As a shorty, I will ride but my hands don't EVER go up and sometimes I even find myself ducking. But I do ride.

Yeah the few times I have ridden it, I have been holding on for dear life and pretty much ducking the entire time so I'd probably be safe LOL!!!!

Pretty pretty! So glad you got your first choice!! We have similar pics from when they were actually working on spacemountain. I don't know if I would NEVER get on it again, but I haven't been on it in a few years...I've been getting nervous right at the loading dock!

Isn't POR just gorgeous!!! I love that resort!!! I am done with that ride!! Someday if my kids want to ride it they'd better have their father wrapped around their finger, momma will be busy getting FPs for everyone LOL

Last year he didn't get to blast off any fireworks since he was in Branson with his dad eating baloney sandwiches....

So he feels that he needs to be back so that he has the chance at some fireworks again.
Unless he goes on another wonderful trip with his dad...
So, I need to find out if Fl. sells any good fireworks. If they do, I'll just bribe him!
If they don't I'll leave money with Kyle and have a good amount waiting in Kansas for him when we get back.
Regardless, we need to talk...

Well I do know certain parts of Florida sell fireworks, I'm just not sure you can do them within city limits, we'll have to do some research on that!

Space Mountain is not my favorite, either. I was going to ride it with Brooklynn on this trip, but it was down two times when we went to it. She was fine, though, and I told her we'd be back in a few weeks to try again. I'll gladly go do something in Fantasyland with Bella while she goes with others in our group who are younger and better able to handle the ride. Or I might get crazy and do it with her, since I have not gotten to do that. Who knows?

Funny you should be discussing bologna sandwiches. I used to do PBJ for school to eat cheap, but with the time crunch now, I don't even have time to stop and spread PB and J. My solution - I buy a loaf of bread and a pack of bologna and quickly slap that together while I am on the run to the printer, copy machine, meeting, or whatever.

Oh yeah, healthy eating at it's best.

Sometimes. I guess if I am in back it is has its moments. Usually if I can "go with it" I feel like I have been to the chiropractor since any kinks get worked out.

I can do RnR, ToT, EE, all day long. Even BMTRR can rough me up a bit. SM I will do once maybe twice a trip - that is about it.

When I lived there we could get some, but coming from NY where none were available I can't remember what you could get.

Last time I rode it I had my ankles crossed, and when the bar came down I didn't have enough room to uncross them so I went the whole ride without being able to stabilize myself. Needless to say, it was more jerky than normal! I haven't been back on it since

Well, I did get to the VB store and checked out the wristlets with my phone. I have a Disney Castle case on it, and it was pretty tight. But I checked the Carry It All wristlet and it's a little bigger, plus it has a flap with a snap that goes over the opening for the phone. I believe that will be my Christmas present, in Plum Petals, thank you very much!

I think you could bribe Baylor and stay longer Anita!!! He's a boy - there must be something he'd go for. Food perhaps?

Congratulations on your new contract! I want to go to Vero soon. I have enough points to book at either HHI or Vero in July. I know how impossible it is to get these resorts in summer. I am going to stalk member services every day after my 7 month window and keep my fingers crossed. I am flexible and can go anytime in July.

I rode Space Mountain with Ben during MNSSHP because there was no wait. I hadn't ridden since I was 14. It was really jerky, I thought, and since I have seen it with the lights on (like Jen while on People Mover) I didn't enjoy it one bit! John usually rides with him but it gives him a headache each time. He may be riding solo until Ellie gets brave enough to ride! I do ride all the other coasters with him and RNRR is my fave!

Anita-I can stop in SC and get you fireworks as we drive right through on our way!

My DD8 loves baloney sandwiches - w/mayo, cheddar and lettuce too. But I don't think she'd live on them for long.

Actually I got Baylor to agree to the extra days if Kyle,(Keeley's boyfriend) gets the fireworks here in Kansas and saves them for him until we get home.
Kyle's family lives out in the county so we can go out there and explode them to our heart's content when we get back in town!
So how far away are you from the 7 month mark to make your reservations for Vero?
