We are indeed home, my principal welcomed me back to reality with notice of an informal evaluation....LOL
She had a wicked smile on her face.

I too love an October trip, but don't think I'll leave that husband of mine at home again. I spent way too much money this trip!!!
Plus he is just plain handy to have around, besides with the new contract that was sent to Disney for ROFR today, we should have plenty of points for travel four times a year!

Yay for a new contract!!

You are kidding! Another contract? Woman, you are living my hubby's dream! He wants enough points to stay for a month or two every year!

Some very very nice souvies were purchased this trip!!!!! I wish I could have brought more home LOL! (Prince P wouldn't have liked that though LOL)

We wanted more Vero Beach points. We really have high hopes of staying in a beach cottage there this summer...

So the new contract is at Vero Beach!

When Brooklynn was 2 she said "Curry Back." She swore that that is what the lady at Haunted Mansion said and you could not convince her otherwise. She knows better now, but I can not think of Hanuted MAnsion without hearing her little toddler voice saying "Curry back"

Alright, still haven't managed to completely unpack yet, however we must get our June TR back on track or we may never finish before next June LOL!!!!! So let's discuss why I will NEVER, and I mean NEVER ride Space Mountain again!

So last time I left you, I had just left Anita and family to board the Dream (can't wait to do that myself next summer) and was heading back to WDW for a couple of solo days.

My first stop was to check out my room and get my luggage delivered!!! Once again the Southern Belle fairies smiled upon me and I was granted my wish of a mansion room, but not just any mansion room, I got to stay in Magnolia Terrace (my favorite of the mansions).

Isn't the room so purty!!! I just love it there!!! Of course I do want to make sure I stay at all the resorts so someday I'll have to visit another moderate!!!

After unpacking and settling in my room, I was getting hungry! Thankfully I had an ADR at the Plaza! I just love this little restaurant! It serves good food at a quality price (well for Disney food prices)!!

I checked in and didn't have to wait long before I was seating inside. It was still pretty hot out so I was thankful for the coolness inside!

For dinner I ordered one of my faves from here! The cheese steak sandwich!

This was so good!!! It really hit the spot!!!!!

After dinner I decided I just wanted to ride the PeopleMover/TTA for awhile! So I headed over to that side of the park and walked right on to the ride. As we were coming up to Space Mountain I noticed something strange...

Say WHAT?!?! The lights are on....hmmmm...the ride must be down...quick take pictures!! So I did...now I ask you to sit back, keep your arms and feet inside the vehicle at all times and enjoy this sneak peak at Space Mountain!
(Sorry if they aren't the best shots, hard to get in a moving vehicle!)

Yeah it took two rides on the Peoplemover to get all those shots and after the 2nd time and seeing the huge pile of closely placed metal tracks I told myself I will NEVER get on that ride again. I could just see a wrongly lifted hand and well I won't finish that statement, but NOPE never getting on it again!! I'll happily play chicken with a yeti, ride the wildest ride in the west, and I'll even free fall in a broken elevator, but my days of being an astronaut (at least at MK) are over!! LOL!! Although I must admit it was a VERY cool site to see!!!!

After my two spins around Tomorrowland I decided to do some walking around the park!!!

I just love this picture!! Going up in my multi-frame Disney pictures on the wall!

Shortly after just walking around and of course riding the Haunted Mansion (it hurts to walk by and not ride LOL)!! It was time to head back to the resort! I wanted to get to bed early and relax! I had a date with EMH at AK in the morning I didn't want to miss!!!!!

I was just being a good mother. I really don't like riding that mess either.... I even took the front seat!
I'll happily go with the little ones to Fantasyland at Christmas and leave SM to the big kids and their own special touring plan....

Pretty pretty! So glad you got your first choice!! We have similar pics from when they were actually working on spacemountain. I don't know if I would NEVER get on it again, but I haven't been on it in a few years...I've been getting nervous right at the loading dock!

Great pictures. I might have to think about riding SM again. It is a no go when it is just DH and myself, because he refuses to ride it, but I have been know to ride it with my niece and nephews.
