Don't Mess With My Toot Toot!! A Wigd and gang TR/PTR Upd: 12/7 pg.60 Going WILD!

Honestly, if we weren't needing to get done to meet up with Don, Michelle, and the boys it wouldn't have made that much difference to me. I try to go with the flow when we are there unless it's inconveniencing someone else. In this case we had guests meeting us to swim at SAB! I knew they were going to be waiting...

You guys didn't have to worry on our account. We would have fully understood if you couldn't make it!

Oh no!!! We had plans that we all wanted to keep! Baylor was dying to meet the boys! We wanted to spend some time with you too!

I was really glad that the boys got a chance to meet before the cruise. It was nice to watch them just take off once we got on board and have so much fun together!

Oooh, drooling over Le Cellier! Love their poutine. Sadly, we're skipping it this time. Trying to branch out in our dining. I wonder if Le Cel still will do carry-out soup. If it's now so crazy at lunch, they might not be able to.

I love that your morning was so leisurely. Just wondering how you could have laundry to do so early in the trip. :confused3

You sound so excited about school, Jen! Pics of your classroom coming up? Or maybe just the cafeteria -- more food pics! ;)

LOL Do you know that is the one place during the school year I have never visited, our cafeteria!! I have no idea what it even looks like with kids in there or tried the food LOL!!!! Once I finish my room I will post pics, but I'm more excited to see Anita's :rolleyes1

You know I hear asking for the soup to go is a by CM basis! Can't hurt to ask and see what happens!!!

Oh, I can't believe our summer vacation is coming to an end! Didn't it just start??? :(

Anyway, Baylor's face does say it all! :rotfl: The chicken crepe sounds really yummy and perfect for lunch!

It seems like this happens every summer...someone mentioned the other day I think Mary Ellen that June and July go by so fast and they do...it will be August on Monday...HOLY MOLY...where did summer go!!

The chicken crepe was very good!! I loved it!!

Baylor does NOT look amused. I am sure the 1 credit lunch is a huge factor. Conversely, we got in for dinner (no dining plan) well under the 180 day window back in May.

I also did not know that your title was an actual song. I'm torn between looking it up on itunes out of curiosity and not wanting some crazy song stuck in my head.

That is insane!! What did you think of the 2TS meal? I don't know I hear it's quite addicting once you get to know it LOL!!!!! I still crack up thinking of the story and song!!!!

Baylor's face is priceless! I'm sure the lunch crowd is heavy all the time now thanks to dinner being 2 credits. We are eating there for the 1st time this trip and it took me checking for a ressie every day til I finally got someones cancellation time! I hope its worth the hype!
I'm glad Heather mentioned the song cause everytime I saw your TR I would start singing it! (and still do) :lmao:

YAY congrats on getting the ADR!!! Perseverance pays off!!!

It's a great song!!!

I love Baylor's face!! That really does say it all. 45 to 60 minutes behind schedule is a long time to wait for your lunch. Wow.

Your crepe looks really yummy.

It was a long wait but the food was totally worth it!!! So good!!! The crepe was delicious!!!

Oh those are some great photos, even with the wait! that is unheard of, thought, and I agree, undoubtedly everyone trying to get in for lunch is the reason why you have that wait! 1 TS to 2 TS after 5, right? People want to get the best value for their DDP credits. I am sure it is causing major delays for them... I don't know how you can make a restaurant one way for lunch and the other for dinner... seems to me they were being greedy here. Is the Brown Derby that way? Or Signature all day? They should have done one or the other. or, they could have just narrowed the DDP menu choices for the evening vs. making it a signature restaurant for the evening only... it would probably save them just as much and they'd get better business all day long... more flexibility for guests. Oh well, not sure we'll make that a priority on our list for future trips, either...

looking forward to hearing about your afternoon!

I think the transition is part of the reason for the wait at LeCellier, I wonder if they have any plans to deal with that. Brown Derby is a signature all the way....so it doesn't change. I hope to update later this evening or tomorrow about our afternoon and evening....we actually took a recommendation from you and LOVED it :rolleyes1

Oh Le Cellier...be still my heart!!! :). That WAS a long wait - no excuse for that! :)

Baylors face is hilarious!! :)

Baylor takes some of the greatest photos!!!!!! He cracks me up!!!!!

Le Cellier is a great restaurant!!!

When we had luch at Le Cellier in March, we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated at opening! :headache: We were there before our ADR, before they did the little opening ceremony yet we waited & waited for no apparent reason. :confused3

WOW a wait at opening LOL that is not good!!!!!!

the ah ha moment just went off in my brain we will so have to try that ;)

Good luck with the game!! It is so much fun, I'm sure your crew would love to try it!

The ice cube game is played by choosing the largest piece of ice in your glass and running your straw through the hole in the middle. Then you balance in on your glass. The last ice to melt and fall off wins. Does that make sense?

Yeah, I think I get it now. I was thinking it was part of the schick at the restaurant and couldn't remember it.

Wow, what a long wait. I wondered if that wouldn't happen with the change in credits. Baylor looks absolutely bored.

Ok, never heard of the ice cube game. Jeremy would love that one!

Oh I think Jeremy would have fun with that game! All done going through my shirts and we just got back from Chicago. Need to get your box packed up!

I didn't realize it either so I caved and goggled it.

Now it is stuck in my head!!!!!! NANANANANA Got to get it out !!! :rotfl2:

I swear if I can find it as my ring tone I'm going with it!!! It's awesome LOL!!! Glad you googled it!!!!

45 to 60 minutes behind on seating people? That's terrible. How long did you have to wait? At least the meal was good. Some of their bread sounds pretty good right now though. They still have the pretzel bread, right?

I may have missed something, but what's the ice cube game?

Well we did check in early so I think we waited about an hour or so to get seated if not a bit more!! But when you are with great company time flies!!!!!! The meal was fantastic and I sure could go for some pretzel bread right now!!

What a great game!! Thanks for introducing it to me!!!!!!

Oh man...my family gets crazy competitive with each other in games so I think we need to start playing the ice cube game! :rotfl:

I really want to try Le Cellier. We ate there years ago, and had ADR's there the last two times we went but weren't able to make it either time -- first my dad was really sick and we didn't want to go without him. Then we were going to go last February, but our flight got canceled and we had to push the trip back a couple days. Of course Le Cellier was one of the places we lost due to that. I'm really hoping that the third time's a charm this time!

Oh go for it!! It's a great game! We always have a blast playing it!!!!

OOOH I hope you make it to LeCellier this time!! SO GOOD!!!

I want to see her room, too. I got too busy to be able to make a boat. I'm sure hers looks cool-eee-oh!

Our cafeteria is a scary place. The workers hover over the food and have a fit if a kid gets two extra fries, but they'll let ten kids go by with one item on the tray and never say a word. I go in to see that mine all get a main item and at least one fruit or vegetable. (Our food is not so appealing, either. I bring my own lunch. ::yes::) As soon as I get them through the line, I am out of there! It's not a very inviting environment. I let my kids eat with me once a week until the weather starts getting cooler and the threat of mice coming in the building wherever they smell food is a threat. They love to eat in the room!

Our cafeteria is a really nice place! Sometimes I prefer it to the lounge, although it can be a little loud!
I do bring my lunch though!
As far as my room goes, I need some time and it seems to be a hot commodity lately!
Marc and I got the boat and Nemo put up. I got the netting up and the jellyfish fish. (I will call you Squishy) So I have to get my sharks up, Mr. Ray's reading nook up, Crush, Squirt, and a boogie board as well will be going up.
Then I had an idea for the aquarium. We have a glassed in office. So I'm going to hang the plush aquarium inhabitants in there peering out at the class!
I need to think up some cute captions now!

BUT, I have double work due for my class next week. I can't make it to the last class so I have two projects due, two weekly papers to write, and two current events to turn in....
AND
We get Harper tomorrow for the rest of the week since Matt and Megan are in Colorado hiking!
All that and I want to get the kitchen painted before school starts.:rolleyes1

I'm sorry your summer vacation is coming to an end all too quickly. June and July ave to be the fastest months!

Yummy lunch at Le Cellier. I really do enjoy it, but have decided to keep it off the list for awhile just for the reasons you described. Far too popular and plenty of other great places to eat!

I couldn't agree more! I can't believe it is already August...time sure does fly!!!!

Le Cellier is very yummy but oh so busy!!!!!

I love the look on Baylor's face!!! Perfect expression! :rotfl:

I'm glad your food at Le Cellier was good even if the service wasn't the greatest! I imagine the credit-changing for lunch and dinner is likely to blame for the hold-up. I'm sure once they get the kinks worked out things will run much more smoothly!

Oh I'm sure in time they will work it all out!!! I was very happy with my meal!!! SO good!!!!!!

Honestly, if we weren't needing to get done to meet up with Don, Michelle, and the boys it wouldn't have made that much difference to me. You know I think you are right! It had a lot more to do with we had a meet we wanted to get to than the food or service!!!!!

You guys didn't have to worry on our account. We would have fully understood if you couldn't make it!

Oh No!! We were so going to make that meet!!!!!!

It was so great to see the boys get along right off the bat!! And it was great to spend time with you before the cruise too!!!!
