YAY! You are booked! Excellent news! I am so excited for you!
I know its been a while since I commented (such a bad dis friend)
but, I think with such a short trip its better to skip the HDDMR. It is so much fun, but I would feel like I was missing out on valuable park time while there. LTT is really great and I think you all will like it.

We will be eating QS for dinner the night of the party, to make sure we have room for snacks (translation: crap food!) too!

I can't wait to hear all about your ADR's!

I've been so used to thinking that we were checking in on the 25th, that I sort of forgot I changed it to the 24th and that TODAY IS OUR 180 DAYS!! luckily, I wasn't trying to get ADRs anywhere too popular, so when I finally remembered at 4:30 this afternoon, I didn't really have a problem getting our reservations made. Here's what we ended up with, not much different than I had planned.

Thursday I have a 5:35 dinner res at Liberty Tree Tavern. This was probably my hardest choice. I wanted to do dinner after MSEP, but the latest time it would give me was 8, which is right when the parade begins. I'm hoping to change it to later, but if I can't, we'll stick with 5:30 and then try to do something between dinner and waiting for the parade.

I went ahead and made a reservation at Kona for breakfast friday morning. We'll see if we keep it or not.

For Saturday, we have two reservations. We have breakfast at 10:10 at Hollywood and Vine. Dinner that night will be at 50s prime time at 5:30. It took so long to get seated and eat that I wanted to eat early and have plenty of time before fantasmic that night.

And that's it!

I think the LTT will be fine, you guys can just hang out in that area of the park for a while, you could do the Country Bear show or something like that to stay close to that section of the parade route or make your way back towards the entrance so you can scoot-a-loo quickly after the shows are done!

I am so excited for you!! I can't wait until Wednesday for our ADR's! I reeeeaaalllyyyy hope they all work out!! I can't imagine going without something on my list or reworking my plans, I have no backup plan, lol...

i'm glad we decided to wait on HDDMR. i'll miss trying it this trip, but it'll be fun to go with friends later.

it is funny--feel free to laugh.... I was hoping to meet tiana after dinner and before the parade, but I can't find out when tiana's meets are. I also don't know if she meets so close to the parade time. I can't remember when they told us her last meet was when we were there. oh well, we'll figure it out.

i'll keep my fingers crossed that your ADR plans work out! i'm sure they will, since I know YOU won't forget!

I forgot to mention that we did, sort of, have a movie night a couple Fridays ago. the girls and the boys I nanny and I went to see the new muppet movie, muppets: most wanted. it was so good! the kids all seemed to enjoy it and I loved all the cameos/stars in it, tina fey being my favorite! I'm not sure I should really count this as a movie night since 1) we went in the afternoon and 2) I didn't plan anything for it, no dinner, no activities, no anything. I guess i'll count it just so I can feel like we did one already! and just to add a picture, we went to subway for lunch the other day and maddie got this cute backpack for her lunch. she says miss piggy is her favorite now.




and, now, even more exciting than a movie, DISNEY SEWING!! this was the second set of outfits I made for Terri's cutie little girls--hoop dee doo outfits! they are pillowcase dresses with cow print ruffles on the tushie



I also made these cute little bloomers to wear under their dresses



so here they are all together...



Terri saw them this morning and likes them, so i'm pretty happy. my next project for her is anna and elsa inspired dresses which I already have some ideas for! I DISNEY SEWING!

i'll be sure to tell maddie! i was surprised she picked that one (the other choice was green--her favorite color--and had all the muppets on it) but she really loves it and used it all the time now. i'm just glad they like the muppets since I've always loved them!

before I start on our plans, I just had a random question....what is everyone doing with their old magic bands? when I log on to my MDX app they are all still active, along with a KTTW card, which i'm assuming are the cards they gave us at POR in January when we checked in but never had to use. I deactivated them all, but just wondered what we should do with them.

anywho.....on to our plans....

hopefully, we'll all get to leave together on Wednesday, sept 24. i'm hoping to pick Hannah up from school at the end of the day and go straight to the airport. there are 2 flights that seem pretty good, one southwest and one delta. one leaves at 6:25 and one at 7:30. the 7:30 one doesn't land in Orlando until 12:22 am but if DH can't get off work early and we really want to go together, it might be our only choice to get out on the 24th. i'm hoping for the 6:25 one. that lands at 9:40 and we'd be in our room in time to get plenty of rest.

on Thursday, sept 25 (OUR ANNIVERSARY! ) we'll get to MK as early as we can. there are EMHs that day, so I know it's not actually a top choice, but since it's our only chance to spend a full day there and the crowd level is only 2, I think we'll be fine.

my goal for that morning is to get a FP for elsa and anna first thing (if not, we'll take what we can get, of course), then find some breakfast, either at main street bakery or gastons. or, the ever popular choice of the girls and I waiting in line and DH finding food. that way DH doesn't have to stand around and food is on the way--gotta keep everybody happy first thing in the morning, right?

then I thought about heading over to 7 dwarves. maybe we can ride once then depending on wait times, and FP another time later in the day. then start working our way around, starting with philharmagic, it's a small world, haunted mansion, BTMRR, splash, POC and tiki room. if we don't get to some of those, we'll just put them on the list to do before MNSSHP the next day.

I think we'll try lunch at Casey's corner, then head back into fantasyland and ride little mermaid. Madison wants to meet ariel with her tail, so I guess we'll try to do that. it's not high on the priority list. we've already decided that we're not spending as much time waiting to meet characters this trip since we did so many last trip. we'll see what the line is like. then we'll head over to ride the tea cups (family fave, can't miss it!), Winnie the pooh, buzz and space mountain. by this time, i'm sure we'll have to head over for dinner at LTT at 5:35. if we can, I want to try to meet tiana before dinner. if not, i'd like to meet her after dinner and before MSEP. we have to meet tiana this trip after missing her the last two times. it's Madison's MUST DO for this trip. I really want to go later in the day to see her with Naveen, so we'll just have to make time for it. then we'll watch the parade. the park closes at 9 that night, so i'm not sure if we'll have time to squeeze in any more rides or not. but then we'll head out and get some sleep after that busy day!

my plan for fastpasses is to get one for anna and elsa, one for 7 dwarves and one for big thunder or space mountain or buzz lightyear.

We are planning on taking that 6:30 flight on Tuesday! I toyed around with the idea of Charlotte and I leaving earlier in the day, but I just don't think that is a good idea! We haven't purchased our tickets yet because OMG are they high this year or what!

Your plans look great for day one. I think with a crowd level of 2 for MK you will be fine! I am sooo glad they moved Anna and Elsa to MK, so so glad!

I really want to sit down for an anniversary dinner but not in the middle of park time. I think both the menus look good and think DH and the kids would find things they like at both places also. I personally would do Tonys. Just opens you up to enjoy more fun snacks during the day, and then I love itialiano food, and like you said, with so little park time, I would like to maximize it and eat later. I think if you snack a lot in the day youll be good waiting for a late dinner. But thats just me!!

too bad we can't all fly out together! (I feel like I've said that before?) the prices are CRAZY! They are having a sale at southwest and the flight is $151. How is that a sale when the regular price is $155? It's ridiculous. We haven't gotten tickets yet either. I'm going to wait and see what the prices do.
