too bad we can't all fly out together! (I feel like I've said that before?) the prices are CRAZY! They are having a sale at southwest and the flight is $151. How is that a sale when the regular price is $155? It's ridiculous. We haven't gotten tickets yet either. I'm going to wait and see what the prices do.



I wish we were leaving on the same day! It would making flying alone with the girls a better possibility! One stinking day off! I agree $151 is a pretty poor excuse for a sale!

I personally would do Tonys. Just opens you up to enjoy more fun snacks during the day, and then I love itialiano food, and like you said, with so little park time, I would like to maximize it and eat later. I think if you snack a lot in the day youll be good waiting for a late dinner. But thats just me!!

i'm really leaning towards the later time. do you know if there's a good place over that way to watch MSEP? we've never seen it and i'm not sure where good places to watch are.

ok, i'll have to admit, I don't really have much of a plan for MNSSHP besides not run around like a crazy person. here is the LOOSE plan I have for the day.....

sleep in
have breakfast at kona café at 10:15
come back to resort and let the girls play/swim?
nap
get dressed for party
be at MK by 4 pm
do....something?
6:15ish, get into line for Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. send daddy to find some food we can eat while we wait
meet Rapunzel and Flynn
ride some rides and get some candy (I really want to do dumbo and astro orbiter at night)
find some magic shots (one by haunted mansion and one by tiana m&g area that I know of)
9ish, find a spot to watch hallowishes (hopefully in the hub), have a snack (Halloween party waffle anyone? yes, please!!)
10:05 villains mix and mingle show (try to meet any villains?)
10:30 boo to you parade
meet jack
meet jasmine and Aladdin
ride BTMR

i'm not thrilled with the thought of waiting in line to see Rapunzel and Flynn....Madison said before that she didn't want to meet them, now she says she does....maybe she'll change her mind again and we'll end up with more party time

also, maybe we'll flip flop things around and do the first parade (even though the second is less crowded, i'm wondering how crowded this party will be given that it's an earlier one). so that would be....
meet Rapunzel and Flynn
go find a spot to watch the parade
8:50 villains mix and mingle
then, hang around for 9:15 celebrate the magic and 9:30 hallowishes
then go over to adventureland and meet jack and jasmine, get candy, find magic shots, do.....stuff?

I just don't know since we've never been. waiting in line to see characters is just so not appealing to me at the party. it seems like you'll have so much time since the park is closed to others, but there's so much to do! I know we can't do it all, but.....i'd like to try!

if anyone has any tips (besides skip Rapunzel and Flynn), i'd love to hear them!


and that just leaves the plan for HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS day!!

so, of course, the first plan for the day will be to sleep in!
we have a reservation for breakfast at Hollywood and vine at 10:10.
after breakfast, we'll probably head over to magic of animation because I know DH will want to do the drawing class again. I want to take the girls to meet Minnie and sorcerer mickey (I can't go to Disney without meeting mickey somewhere!). maybe we'll see the incredibles too, just depending on lines.

i'd like to head over to do the great movie ride. we didn't do it last time, but i'd like the girls to see the scene from wizard of oz. they love that movie. hopefully the other parts (honestly, it's been so long since we did it, I can't even remember what all is in there), don't freak them out too much.

after that we'll head over to TSMM, then meet mike and sulley, find the singing in the rain umbrella, play in HISTK area, and muppets. if need be, we'll stop into pizza planet for a snack. Hannah has been asking to see it. and DH and I saw some grownup drinks at a little stand somewhere last time that looked awesome but we didn't go back for--i'd like to find that again! then we'll do star tours. hopefully in between all that, we'll find a characterpalooza to try. i'd also like to do RNR and/or ToT. I don't know if I can get either of the girls on either of those rides (maddie for being too short and Hannah for being too scared), but we'll see. we skipped them last time. if I had to pick, i'd go with RNR. I love it and the queue doesn't freak me out like ToT does! i'd also love some time to just wander around the stores and look around, and grab something from starring rolls! oh, and fastpasses for this day will probably be TSMM, star tours and.....i'm not sure. maybe RNR or ToT?

after all that fun, we have a 5:30 dinner res at 50's prime time. i'm so excited about going back! hopefully we'll have a silly waiter this time! we'll see what time it is when we're done and do whatever we have time for. then we'll go to see fantasmic! I doubt DH will be excited about this since he didn't love it last time we saw it, but i'd like the girls to see it and I like it, so DH is outvoted!

then, we'll head out to the bus, wiping our tears on our last Disney day for this visit as we go.....

Okay, so I found this to be a really really good walkthrough of the MNSSHP and the order to do things... HERE!!!

So take a look at that, very cool. I think your Halloween plans sound very do-able, you dont have too many things, it looks good. I dont think the line for Rapunzel will be too bad. I am curious though, if you get in line that early and make it to the front before 7 will it just be Rapunzel? Because surely she will still be meeting by herself through the entire day, right? Do you think they will shut the line down for a while to get ready for Flynn? I kinda just think he will just walk up and join her at 7, so be careful not to get in line too early. If the posted wait time is short around 6:15 I'd maybe do the carousel or something to bust some time?

Everything else looks awesome. We basically have the same plan in the middle there. I am thinking I want to go to the first parade, because I have heard its so good I would like the option to watch it twice if I want! I love how Hallo-wishes is in the middle! Makes it so nice. Oh, to answer your question about the parade viewing near Tony's, the parade also goes around that little circle around the flagpole up at the very front of the park, so I think you would be able to see it from right outside, or even IN the restaurant.

Oh, and Great Movie Ride, Olivia was kinda freaked out about the guns going off in the gangster scene and the Alien scene. I think a good solution is just preparing them so they know its not real and it doesnt surprise them, at least that how Olivia does well. We watch youtube videos of the rides and she knows what to expect.

This is soooo fun!! It feels sooooooo real and close now!!! What days are you wearing what?? Did you officially decide on the costumes?

Our plan sounds like yours. I want to do Rapunzel and Flynn. I think Charlotte will flip when she sees Flynn. She loves him, a lot! We are doing the second parade for sure! I plan on ending the party with the woody dance party. I think Charlotte will get a kick out of it and I read going towards the end of the party gets you some great interaction.

What I really want to do (and in my head this sounds like a great plan, but actually carting it out will be a whole other thing) is fly out earlier Tuesday (9:30?) just me and Charlotte and then we can go to the party that night while DH flies down after work. I would love to go to two parties. But sadly I am kind of a scardy cat to do something like that on my own!

If it were me, I think I'd skip out on LTT and hit up Tony's. Since you don't have very long in the parks, squeeze out every ounce of park time you can!

As far as MNSSHP, I think I would probably head to the 2nd parade if it was us! We did the first one when we went and it was crazy packed! Only character meet-ups we did at the party were the prince/princesses and they were great! I loved how the two really fed off of each other... and Flynn was awesome!

Hollywood Studios day looks great too! Only thing, with RnRC and TSMM... I'm pretty sure they're in the same tier so you can only choose one of them for FP+. Stinks!

the rapunzel line--I read somewhere that a line for seeing her and Flynn during the party sort of forms to the side. That way people can still get in for FP and the standby line until 7, then they switch over to the party line.

I don't think I can get DH to watch the parade twice but I do want to find a spot soon enough that we don't miss the headless horseman. I think that sounds so cool and Halloween-ish! I've heard he comes down the street like 15 minutes before the parade. And I totally want to find a spot in the hub so we can see everything where we are and not have to go far to see the villains thing.

I am totally leaning towards Tony's just due to the time we can get. I'm glad there's a place down there to see the parade too!!

I was thinking about watching some videos for great movie ride and ToT and RnR so maybe Hannah won't be so worried about riding. That'll probably backfire on me and freak her out more!

you know, after I posted that I thought "I forgot to inform Jackie that I'm planning on finding her sometime during all that". Totally wasnt even going to give you a choice!

I so wish we could go down together! I'd love to do another party and then you wouldn't be alone! You know, when DH was doing the animation class, the girls and I did stuff alone. I was nervous at first, but it really was easy and kind of fun to have some mommy and girls time. I know it'd be a pain to fly down alone, but it could be a little adventure for the two of you too! i think we'll probably try tony's but I'm not going to cancel any reservations yet--so indecisive!

I'm sort of thinking at the party we'll do right side of the park, all the middle stuff (parade, fireworks) then the other side of the park. We'll see how that goes.

Darn tiers! Oh well, we have to do TSMM, so we'll see what happens I guess.

i booked our trip and got all crazy excited about planning stuff--I was a posting maniac for a couple days! That'd be awesome to run into each other at MK! Do you have any plans for that day yet? you'll have to let me know where you'll be when so i can keep an eye out. And you SO won't be intruding! I'm pretty sure we'll be chasing our crazy kids rather than walking around in a romantic fog---funny how that happens after 14 years together!

Thanks! I'm having so much fun making stuff for them! They're just such adorable girls! I can't wait to see the frozen outfits either! I have some ideas but haven't gotten to the fabric store yet. I also had to pace myself or I would have been all out of craft projects months before our trips and bored silly! I could sew Disney stuff all day!
