Don't give up on trying for a ressie you want!!

I just wanted to encourage people to keep trying to get the reservation at the restaurant of your choice. It is 2 days til my Disney vacation and I was finally able to get our 'Ohana dinner for Sunday night reserved. And I was able to get it at peak dinner time 5:05pm. I'm so happy that we get to go..it is our all time favorite restaurant and a Disney vacation is not the same without it!!

Same thing happened to me last year! It was about 2 weeks prior to our trip and a dinner reservation opened up for Ohana. I checked the reservations everyday and it worked out well for me. Congrats on getting your reservation!

I "third" this!! We had really good luck on our last trip getting some great last-minute reservations ('Ohana's on our arrival night and Liberty Tree Tavern before the MVMCP....oh and reservation for the Dessert Party too!)

Great advice! Will keep this in mind when I begin to book ADRs...won't let myself get disappointed early on!

Add me to the list who just got an 'Ohana reservation!!

My mom and I will be in WDW in a few weeks and my mom loves 'Ohana. She hasn't eaten there in years and really wanted to go back. I couldn't get us a reservation & I know she was disappointed.

I surprised her the other day with a phone call telling her I was able to get us an 8PM ADR! She was SO happy. (me, too)

I tell everyone to keep trying. With the online ADR system, it is very easy to check multiple times during the day.

Yeah i have been trying everyday for Ohana, i have a ressie for 9:25pm but im hoping for something a little earlier. We leave in a little over 2 weeks . Im hoping something may open up. We have everything else we want.

I hope so!!! I am trying for an Ohana reservation on 3-18, and I have had no luck! I am checking the website several times a day, and watching here. I know my kids would love this place, and we have a wide open MK where this reservation would be perfect. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Please send some of those lucky vibes to me!!!!! I have been trying for 3 weeks to get an Ohana ressie too! I'm so flexible too.....I plug in every day (we have 7 options) and all different times......NOTHING! We leave in a little less than 3 weeks.

Did you get lucky calling WDW or trying online? I have called 1x, but have been plugging in all my dates/times about 10x a day (morning to night) for so long!!!!

Thanks for the encouragement though! I'm hoping as we get a bit closer people will cancel b/c their CC is holding the ressie!

Same for me! When I started looking they only had super late reservations after 9pm. I looked tonight and was able to get a 5pm reservation for tomorrow! I looked online at least once a day.

I had also read somewhere here on DIS that as people approach the final payment deadline (is it 45-days prior to departure or 60?), and decide to cancel their trip, ADRs may become available. Good luck!

Agreed! I just got a ressie at Ohana about 10 days out from my trip, also at peak time.
