Don't Give Up On Codes!!

I was not near a computer or a phone when the AP codes came out for January. When I returned home nothing was open for either of my two reservation with the AP or general room only codes.

That's been about 3 weeks now I guess. I've tried a couple times since then to no avail. I called again this morning on a whim and a wonderful CM named Latisha checked both of my reservations for me. Still nothing available for my BWI Jan 6-9. But she did find availability for the WL from Jan 9-17. I saved almost $1000.00 from rack rate for those eight days. The rate with tax was $140.00.

So don't give up - keep trying. Rooms do open up!!

That is great news! All that savings means that you sould have more money for another trip. Yeah. I saved almost 700 with the new code. Congrads.

I wanted to add that something similar happened to me this morning.

Over the years, if I do not find what I need at first I continue checking availibilty and it's been rare that it has not opened up..esp if you can be creative in the way you book and check... AND have a CRO CM willing to be esp helpful - knowlegable is necessary as well.

I've been trying to switch resorts for a few weeks, arriving for mousefest, a busy weekend. No room anywhere other than the resort I already booked. I needed an email code room which are very hard to find at any resort for my dates.

This morning I called and asked if she could check one night at a time. I would be willing to hold ressies for each night, if necessary. She began at the end of the stay finding a few nights and adding one night at a time until she had all of the nights beginning at my original arrival date. She was terrific! I could tell she had a cold, was not feeling well,was hoarse, but she was so gracious and helpful!

Of course, I called right away to commend her .

So, anything is possible! After staying in Disney resorts for over 30 yrs we have found just we hoped for every time.
