Don't give up Hope!

Just wanted to say to those who have not 'gotten it,' Don't give up Hope! I watched my emails ALL DAY Feb 27-March 1 and Nothing. I called this morning and talked to a CM. He was nice, but no FD code, actually no code at all. Feeling gloomy, but happy for the Disers who have gotten it, I took my kids to school. Came home to check something on computer, and THERE IT WAS IN MY EMAIL! Now, this was only one hour after the CM told me I had nothing!

I called and got it. I did have to change resorts. I was already booked at CR Garden Wing, but there was already no FD availability for anything under CL for my dates. I switched to Poly, added one night, added one adult, upgraded to DxDP and still saved about $300. I am sooo excited! In all our years, we have never gotten FD!

I haven't given up hope but I have given up caring. I'm not mad at Disney, just resolved that I don't want to play the game. It makes me feel unsettled for so many months prior to the trip that it's hard to let it go and enjoy it when it finally comes.

Congrats!!!! I called this AM & nothing... I decided to call tonight & guess what---I got it!!!! My CM was FANTASTIC!!!! I did have to move our trip up a week from 8/21 to the week of the 13th but I have been waiting for this & I am SOOOOOOOOOO excited!!!!

After being told earlier today that my mother-in-law had a pin assigned to her , she will be traveling with us on our next vacation, we called back tonight to try and work everything out and she no longer had a pin. So first I was pissed because I didn't have one, then I was happy because we had one, and now back to being doubly pissed because it is gone.. starting to unlike Disney right now.

Keep the hope alive! Even when the CM told me I had no discounts, they told me more were on the way. I know how you feel though. I had totally come to terms with paying rack rate plus dxdp with no discounts. I had to ask myself if I would still want to do it, and I did. It was wonderful to finally get it, but I absolutely know the stress and time spent worrying that you are talking about.
