As I'm sure you are all aware, Southwest has a destination sale each Tuesday. Today is Orlando and states that fares are on sale until the end of their current schd. Dec/Jan MCO-BUF fares are still $145.
Oct/some Nov fares are $59 but have been for a few days now, so nothing to do with the current destination sale.

Am I missing something?

Any thoughts would be appreciated. When I first saw this this morning on the SWA home page, I was excited thinking I was going to book inbound flight for $59!!!

It should go down....last year I flew out in January, and originally booked for $1200 for 4 tickets. It went down at the end of October and I payed about $120 p/p (used the credit for another flight !) :thumbsup2

I was shocked at that too.. and their sale is until what is it.. October 19th I think.. that is a long time to wait for a better fare.. when do you all think Dings will be out for that time?

I'm right there with ya, Suzy. I got all excited this morning when I saw that Orlando was the Feature Destination. I was really hoping for something even close to the $54 I got for the flight down. I'm beginning to think I should have booked the Air Tran flight home for $99, but I believe it had that stopover in Atlanta, which I've done before and it ended up being a very long day.

I know I still have 2 1/2 months to go ... but as the weeks pass by, I start to get more worried. I got my $54 special for Dec 9th before the August long weekend.

C'mon SWA ... You're killin' us here!
