Some/All of them are out of a job soon (well we hope not at least!), and I'm sure most of them have families to support. Include in your letters about the staff that have worked tirelessly for us to make VMK what it has become to be, and why we're fighting so hard to keep alive.

Has anyone tried contacting Sulake? We need to make sure the staff are taken care of if VMK does close, and not left out in the cold.

Don't believe it. A friend today saw a staff member (keeping nameless in case it could get them in trouble) say they were out of a job once vmk closed. So don't believe it. Maybe some will be moved, but I doubt all.

Yavn says things sometimes that aren't exactly true.
I'll definetly fight for the staff. We should be thanking them too for all their hard work they have put into making VMK great. It's a shame that some of them are going out of work though. No wonder some of them have signed the petition. They "glove" VMK as much as we do.

I think by "staff" he meant the Sulake programmers and other "Techs" that worked on the game...they moved on to the new Cars and Fairy games that are getting ready to release I bet.

Just a thought- what if Sulake makes a new place for us to call home?

They provided the game engine, they provided us with the hosts and moderators. They really made the game- yavn provided the Disney aspects and a lot of the imagination to make the game what it is today.

Obviously, Sulake has a method that works. Habbo (shudders) is a free game, and hugely popular with its target group. Maybe we should send letters to them too? If Disney is set on dumping this amazing game and its community, Sulake should be well aware of what they're losing, and might be ready to provide us a new virtual home. They've already got a great team assembled that knows how to make a game like this one safe and fun, so why not put them back to work?

I hate to tell you, but when asked what they would be doing or if they would work for disney, Lily and Fin both have said they didn't know what they would be doing. I personally asked Fin these questions and she said I don't know monkey. Someone else had asked Lily and mentioned what Yavn had said and she said, I wish I knew where I was moving on to. I believe there was a screen shot of Lily saying this posted somewhere on here. So, the hosts, at least, as of a day or two ago had no idea.
