I'm so glad you and Olivia got to sit in the front of your mine car so we can see her in the picture! She looks like she's having a great time!!
Yay, dumbo! We still haven't played in the play area. I just keep hustling the girls past so we can ride. I'm so mean.....
Poor Maddie--all soaked in the rain!
I like the way your doing the park just based on what fastpass you can get next. That's a fun way to do it!
We've never eaten at Columbia harbor house because we don't eat fish/seafood and for some reason I always think that's all they have. We might have to check it out.
Yes! So glad we can see her in that photo! And FYI the back of the Mine Train is the BEST! It goes FASTER!
The Dumbo play area is magnificent, nice cool AC and a chance for me to SIT! LOOOOOVE it!
No poor Maddie here, she loved being in the rain, lol..
And it totally worked out with the FP, we kinda had to hop around but it worked well for us, and we did this most our MK days.
So glad to see you back! Excited to read more about your trip!
I love the pictures from Chef Mickey's! And I see Daisy - that must be a special appearance. I've never seen her there before!
I'm sorry for your transportation troubles. How frustrating when you just want to get there!
I love the family shots and magic shots of the girls in front of the castle!
Very cute haircuts and pixie dust. How special to have their first haircuts at Disney!
You got so much done in just a few hours! All the boys LOVED Small World. I think we rode it 4 times during our trip. And that's great that the CM was so understanding at 7DMT - that rider swap pass is crucial there!
Boo for all the rain! Glad you found some indoor attractions to take care of. And I really need to make sure we get to Columbia Harbor House next trip - I love that view from upstairs!
Yes! Everyone realized that about Daisy! I didnt really think about it at the time, but it was special!
Hahahha, oh Small World... I dont even know how many times we rode it... at least 2-3 times each MK day...
YES!!! 7DMT!!!! isn't it just the cutest ride?!?!? Olivia looks like she loves it as much as you do!
Fantastic your raising Dis kids!!!

can't wait for the nest update!!
I love 7DMT! It is cute! Yay for Dis kids!!!!!
I'm glad you figured the new format out. I haven't been on here for a couple of months at least, so glad to be back to take in your updates. Of course it goes without saying your girls are adorable! You know their smiles just melt my heart! Loved all the pics, the hair cuts, the Dapper Dans. We love to catch them each time we go at some point. To be honest, the talking Mickey sort of threw our granddaughter Charlotte for a loop. She was not expecting him to talk to her! But she warmed up pretty quickly…he was so good with her! It was a real surprise to us that he talked. Magical!
I love that Olivia will do the mine train. Isn't is soooo fun?!! I wish it were longer, but it is such fun and so well done with all the visual effects. Glad it worked out for the ride swap.
Sorry about the downpour, but looks like it didn't slow you down any. That's what we always do as well, just keep on truckin'.
I didn't know about that bench at the Contemporary. Such cute photos there!! And it looked like great interaction with the characters, too! Dan and I went last September and Goofy was the only character to come to our table. Mickey had just approached our table when the handler interrupted to take him back where he had just come from with a promise to come right back. Never did. We were pretty bummed over the entire experience. We had a very long wait to be seated and it went downhill from there. But so glad your experience was totally different. It's so special to see the girls' faces all lit up in smiles.
Columbia Harbour House is one of our very favorite places to eat. We always eat upstairs and have often had it mostly to ourselves. Just such a great break from the noise and crowds! And I also love the shrimp basket! The only reason we found it was we did the Keys to the Kingdom tour and that's where we had lunch. We were hooked!
One other thing I wanted to comment on was the fact that both your girls went on POC and Haunted Mansion. Do they like those attractions? We didn't even try Miles on either one when we went in April. We talked to him about POC, but he didn't want to do it.
Can't wait to read more about your trip. So far, its ticking all my boxes!! Love!!
I really hope to do one of the tours someday, looks like fun!! And Olivia LOVES the Mine Train, one of her top 3 faves for sure. Both girls love POC and they love HM too, but they do get a little scared each time when we first go in, but they just hold onto us and then end up enjoying it and ready to go back on again right after! I think for my girls, they go on rides all the time, from the moment they were tall enough for them, so they are rarely ever too scared to ride something. If your grand kiddos dont do a lot of rides or theme parks then it may backfire on you though!!
Whew, glad you got the Rider Swap straightened out!
I LOVE that upstairs dining room at CHH! Such great views out the window and usually pretty empty up there. And the food is yummy!
I really need to make some CM thank you cards next time I go. I run into so many awesome CMs I need to take the time to thank them!
Yuck on the rain but I guess it's better to be in WDW with rain than at home!
You guys seemed to have some great luck with getting additional FPs.
Yes, the rain was torrential this day, but it didnt slow us down at all, and the crowds cleared out... so yay for that!
Love the Mine Train pics, you guys look like you were having a blast!
Love Columbia Harbor House too!
Ugh sorry the rain was so bad, but glad you were able to use FP+ to your advantage!
Yes, we were like FP masters this day! LOL!
Can't wait to check the mine train out! It looks so fun! Too bad about the rain, but it didn't let it stop you guys, that's awesome!
We have to try CHH it looks like such use of a QS credit!
Totally didn't slow us down, but we were absolutely soaked to the bone. I remember trudging through a spot in Tomorrowland that the water was halfway up my calf... it was crazyyyyyyy!!! Not a good day to be wearing socks and running shoes...
sounds like a pretty good breakfast at Chef Mickey's and a fun way to start the day
Ugh, that trip to the MK though sounds terrible ... especially knowing how close the walk is. Oh well, at least you made it in time to meet talking Mickey.
He didn't talk when we last visited him, but it seems like such a fun experience. Though, I do wonder if kids then wonder why Donald, Goofy, etc. don't talk if Mickey can.
So glad they did well with the haircuts! Seems the spinny toys and stickers often do the trick and glad you were happy with the result.
The magic shot pictures of the two girls are really cute
It's funny but my kids didnt question it at all, although when he first started talking we were so excited and talked about it at home and watched
youtube video and stuff, so they knew it was coming. I think the fact that face characters talk and other dont maybe is why they dont seem to question...
