We are here at WDW now. We arrived on 12/21. We went to the Magic Kingdom yesterday and Animal Kingdom today. We had no trouble at either park riding all the rides we wanted and we saw Spectromagic and Wishes without huge crowds. The most important thing is to PLAN. Arrive early and make sure you pick the park that does not have EMH. We are staying at BWV but are avoiding the EMH in the evening. Go to the park that had EMH the night before.

I was really nervous after the posts I read about how crowded everything was. There are lots of people but you can plan and avoid a lot of the long lines.

We have usually come in the summer. This year we have AP's and we came last Christmas, July and this Christmas. We have decided that we will be returning at Christmas time now instead of in the summer.

The weather has been beautiful! It has been so wonderful to not be soooo hot.

Hope this helps.

Let me know if you have any questions

:earsboy: I AM SO JEALOUS OF YOU BEING THERE NOW!! DISNEY IS SO FESTIVE THIS TIME OF YEAR!! HAVE THE BEST TIME!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS momrek06 :earsboy:

I hope that the crowd situation stays the same. We are supposed to go tomorrow and would like not to have to deal with parks closing due to the number of people. Have a great trip.

We were at WDW Dec 19-22. Had a wonderful time. It was crowded, but people were polite and friendly and the morning hours weren't too busy till about noon. The Osbourne light show at MGM has been relocated over near the Muppet movie and it is just beautiful. The Candlelight Processional had Marlee Matlin as narrator and she was so expressive in her signing, it was very moving. Had a two year old granddaughter with us and it was her first Disney trip so we had two character meals - Chef Mickey's for dinner and 1900 Park Fare for breakfast. All was well, the only sad part was leaving without making it to Animal Kingdom.

We just came back from MGM. We went at park opening and my daughter walked on to Rock and Roll Rollercoaster. We were there all morning and it was great!

We are going to walk over to Epcot for a few hours and then spend the evening at MK.

The weather is awesome!

Christmas time is the best!

Thanks for such a positive post. We are planning a trip for next Christmas week (not sure of the dates yet) and I had been terrified of the crowds. Exiting the park gives me a mild form of claustrophobia, so I am leaning toward staying at the CR so we can simply walk to our room from MK and take the monorails to and from Epcot. Sound like a plan?
