Don't be a Drag, Just be a Queen June 3-18 (MORE PICS ADDED 6/25!)

I'm so glad (and amused) that we bumped into you (again) at Flying Fish. We're looking forward to hanging out with you a bit tomorrow.

It was good to see you again! I am so glad you enjoyed your dinner! We'll definitely catch up with you tomorrow. :goodvibes

Princessallegra, I am so happy we finally got to meet each other! :yay:

Flying Fish was a popular place tonight! :rotfl2:

We had a really delicious dinner with impeccable service. After dinner we met up with a friend at MK and we were able to ride Buzz, the go-carts (I know - Speedway - whatever), Tea Cups, Pooh, Small World, Haunted Mansion, and Pirates. It wasn't terribly crowded and the weather was really nice!

Tomorrow is DHS.

I found out tonight that IPO booked us for an Imagineer dinner on a night that there ISN'T ONE. I noticed it because our date was NOT listed on the "Upcoming Dinners" at Flying Fish. So tomorrow I will be chatting with IPO. I am not pleased. Not devastated, but not pleased.

We were pleased to find that all of our favorite snacks ARE still offered in the lounge in the afternoon. We just have to get there before 3 PM.

Creme brulee

David and I split an appetizer, a bowl of the bisque, and an entree - and they served each of us a half-portion on separate plates. They even cooked our tuna to different degrees for us. I was impressed with the service! (Sadly, the smoke from the grill was upsetting David's stomach and giving me a headache; we will probably not go back to Flying Fish on future trips.)

Elizabeth, your meal at Flying Fish looked so much better than ours. That tomato salad looks great. I had the one with the gorgonzola, way too overpowering of a taste.

Dh loved the bread of course.

The strip steak looks great too. Dh should have probably ordered that instead.

How was the creme brule?

Have a great day today!

Thinking of staying AKL on our next trip....the price for CL for 10 nights is $500. Is it worth it...waht kind of stuff is there?

The Tuna looked YUMMY at FF!

You get access to IPO for your ADRs, then there are snacks in the lounge. Muffins, fruit, cereal in the AM, snacks in the afternoon, appetizers in the evening (unless the freeloaders from the other floors take everything, which is what happened the other night), desserts and cordials at 8 PM (again, you have to be quick before the interlopers take everything). You can go on the Sunrise Safari which is exclusive to AKL CL guests. It's about $65 for adults, not sure what the price is for kids. For us we probably won't do club level next year. We'll do a savanna view 1 bedroom at Kidani.

I am glad you enjoyed the food. Sorry about the smoke. :guilty:
Lunch was fun today! Hopefully we will see you guys for Fantasmic!

Maryann, none of us are big creme brulee fans, but it wasn't bad. :)

MGM was PACKED today!! :scared1: Three HUGE tour groups, plus everybody else who showed up. FP return for TSM was past noon at 9:15 AM. The FP line was down to Voyage of the Little Mermaid, stand-by line was down to Backlot Tour. We rode the new Star Tours, and I kept my eyes closed for most of it. As I suspected, it made me quite motion sick.

Dinner tonight at Yachtsman, then we'll head back to try to catch the 2nd show of Fantasmic!

Hey great TR so far. I hope you are having a "Magical Vacation." Love the food pics...makes me want to stick my hand through my laptop and just munch on it :lmao: Anyway, I am looking forward to hear about the rest of your day. Take care :-)

i love you already cause you are a gaga fan and you like being around colorful people! i'm jealous you are staying 15 days!!! we've only stayed 9 nights and i'm having disney withdrawals right now so i will live thru your trip report. keep posting and have lots of fun!!:cool1:

Ok first of all it was amazing to meet you and your family!! You guys are the cutest ever!!! Second of all, holy shnikes with dhs today!!!! Shoot me!! Admittedly we got there WAY later than normal bc Mike wasn't feeling well. We drove and got there around 9:15 am. Tot was up to 45 mins by 9:25. We grabbed a fp with a 10:30 return time, then grabbed an egg sandwich and caught the 10:15 beauty and the beast show. When we got out we went to use our fp and holy moly! The wait was 75 mins, and the fp line was empty. People were packed in line back to the fp machines for standby!!!! We walked all the way to the point where they take your go and put you in the room. It was a short wait inside and the ride was awesome! We literally left right after that. Sooo busy!! We went to typhoon lagoon and had a blast. It was a scorcher today!!

Mike said "you should ask them where they're going tomorrow" bahahaha! It was so funny but kind of true and scary!!!

I hope you guys are having an amazing time!!! Lots of love!!!

Allegra, I am shocked we didn't see you guys! We were standing across the street from Beauty & the Beast when the 10:15 show started. :rotfl:

We're going to Blizzard Beach tomorrow, dinner at House of Blues. :)

Nice trip report, cool to see how club level life is at AK. Fireworks are so amazing at disney. I had tried to stream HD videocast from my mobile but it was lost and my wish didn't make it. Next time I will know better. I though a recording of the memories on the castle would have been extra magical on gay day. Please someone PM me if they find one on the net of this years.

I'm late! I'm late! For a very important report! :rotfl: Joining in better late than never.

Both boys are sleeping (for the moment) and I intend to get caught up. 15 days? Ur my idol!

popcorn::

Welcome! We are having a great time, even though the majority of our friends have gone home or are going in the next day or so. :guilty:

Welcome! Sorry we didn't meet you over the weekend. We missed the Dole Whip meet entirely. I have no clue how to live stream anything. I can't even manage to get service to my cell phone half the time. :rotfl:

Hey there!! You need to post some pics of those boys soon! :goodvibes

Had a fabulous dinner at Yachtsman, followed by Fantasmic. :)

Blizzard Beach tomorrow - our very first time at a WDW water park!

I'm late, but I am joining in! I was pulled in by your title. Love it!

I think my dad has a similar eye condition as you. Doxycycline usually works for him. And true to form, his eye always starts acting up right before vacation. Or his neck. No fail.

So jealous that you are there now, but thankful for the updates. I am on the west coast now and it is taking all of my energy to not drive the 6 and a half hours to Disneyland just for a quick trip. So, I will live through your 15 days of live updates. :)

Welcome! :) My eye is just stupid. I am so over the eyelid thing. It's still lumpy.
