Donald's Breakfastosaurus - Questions???

I have several questions about this restaurant. We've never tried this one.
Is it good? Can you tell me where it's located? I don't remember passing it at the AK.

It is located at the entrance to Dinoland just to the right after you cross the bridge. This character breakfast was not one of our favorites but lots of people love it. The food is standard breakfast stuff and there was a good selection but our meal and the character interaction was very rushed. We did go in June, though-it may not be like that all the time.

We've had breakfast at Donald's five times, and we've always enjoyed it. My younger DS is a huge Donald fan, which is why it's a must-do on our family trips.

The food is typical breakfast buffet fare. Every time that we've been, the buffet has been clean and well-stocked, and the food was hot and fresh.

We've had some servers that were better than others, but we've never had bad service. The better servers at Donald's play jokes on guests and are really a lot of fun. We've had two really funny servers there.

I have two sons, and they like the theming at Donald's. It's set up as the camp of an archeological digsite, with dinosaur artifacts all around - more "boyish" than the theming at other character breakfasts.

We've always had good character interaction at Donald's, and all of our favorites are there - Donald, Mickey, Goofy, and Pluto.

Donald's can be crowded and noisy, but I think that's probably true of most character meals.

The most common complaint that I've read about Donald's is that people have felt rushed through their meal and in the character interaction. This has never been our experience. We usually spend close to an hour on our meal, and we've never felt rushed to eat. And the characters spend as much time with us as they did at any other character meal we've done.

We were there almost three years ago, and we're going back in Oct. We had a good time last time we were there, the only complaint I had is that our table was in the back corner of one of the rooms, and we felt very far away from everything. The food was good, and character interaction was very good, we're going back because we like character meals and that day will be our AK day so we like to start by having bkfst in the park before it opens. After the Breakfastosaurus, the restaurant becomes a fast food place for McDonalds-type food. Just counter service. The actual restaurant is not called "Donalds Breakfastosaurus", that's probably why you didn't notice it.

Is the sign on the restaurant in the morning and then they take it down?

They said allow 20 minutes to walk in - guess they were not kidding.

My DH and I are going in October for our first time (It will just be the 2 of us!). We adore Chef Mickeys but wanted to do something *different* this trip for breakfast. You do hear mixed reviews..mostly saying food is great and character interaction is hurried. But for the good reviews I have heard we can't WAIT to go!

We are doing Donald's for our first time this trip. We are also doing CM on our trip to. I can't wait to try it out. Sounds like a great time.

The actual name of the restaurant is Restaurantosaurus. That might be why you cant locate it.
