Any suggestions for our family, which includes teens? Being on the beach is a MUST, and also need activities as my son is not a lay by the pool kind of kid...

Club Med Punta Cana

I've been there many times since I was 12, both as a teen and an adult, and they have a ton of things to do for everyone. There is a teen club, with their own hangout with pool and foosball among other things, but they also do all sorts of other coordinated activities with the GOs (basically their camp counselors) such as archery, beach volleyball, soccer, flying trapeze, pool games, etc.

The resort is absolutely beautiful and has a great beach, as well as a huge pool.

Like I said, I've been there quite a few times, so if you have any other questions (or want to see pictures!) let me know! :)

Thanks for the info! :yay:

Our family likes the Iberostar resorts. Lots to do for all ages (we have four kids with a 9 year age difference between the youngest and the oldest) and very family friendly.

I wouldn't recommend our resort - Princess Caribe - the food was disappointing and not alot to do, the grounds were very nice, but I don't think I'd go back. I would HIGHLY recommend a day of private surfing lessons by Macao Surf Camp. You can look them up on Trip Advisor - that's how I found them and honestly I can not recommend them enough. They came and picked us up from the hotel and brought us back at the end of the day, the area where the surfing is is absolutely beautiful. It's not a trip can you book through your hotel, you just email them directly and then confirm that morning, they will provide you with their cell phone number. Also they have someone sitting on the beach taking picture and for $30 (two years ago) they will drop off the CD at the the end of the day with all your pictures - I think we had 300. PM me is you have any specific questions about them.
