We are going to the Poly the first week of January. We wanted to spend New Year's by Epcot. I have never stayed at an Epcot resort. I am confused with the bookings. I think if I want to look at Epcot, the CM said to book a resort view room. Is this correct? If I pay extra and book that view, will I be looking at the fireworks or not? Which hotel has the better views of the 2, or should I look into the Beach Club or Boardwalk? 
I am so confused. Is it worth the extra money to upgrade? I appreciate any help from all of you experts! Thanks in advance!
