Has anyone here been on or heard of the Dolphins in Depth exploration programme at Epcot?

I think I'm going on the programme in October as my birthday present and I just wanted to see if any of you guys knew anything about it?

All I know is that it's like a tour where you get to learn all about dolphins and then you get half an hour in the water with them (if they want to cooporate!) They're my favourite animals so I'm really really looking forward to it, but I'd like to find out some more about it first.

Can anyone help?................. <IMG SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif" alt="confused">

I think it is the program at The Living Seas. Maybe you get to swim with them and feed them fish.

What mousekateer55 said is pretty much right- it's a program at the Living Seas. You get to go in a pool that has I think a couple of dolphins in it and the guide or whatever tells you about them and you can pet them and stuff. (I've never done it, but I've heard about it before and I saw Rosie O'Donnell do it on her show on Friday)

I participated in the program I think two summers ago. It was awesome, especially since I hope to become a dolphin trainer. What just about everyone said is correct. You learn about the anatomy of a dolphin, you listen to the different sounds they make, and learn how trainers train them to do new "tricks". You then get to don a wetsuit and stand on a platform that protrudes from the center of the tank. I was the only person in the group that day so I got to interact with both Bob and Toby. If there are other people in your group then you might only interact with one of the dolphins and for a shorter time. The trainer then showed some of the anatomy that I had learned earlier up close. She also showed me some of the gestures they give for the dolphins to do a "trick". I attempted to put my arms entirely around the dolphin and got to start a water fight. I think thats about it. You also get a videotape of your interaction and a t-shirt. Very worth the price. It is an awesome experience. Have fun! :)

Thanks for answering everyone!
