Has any one received a lake view (fireworks) with the $129.00 $139.00 DU room Rate?

I believe MANY have. Just put in a request for this particular view, and also ask at check-in. The resorts have been more strict with regards to Priceline and other discounts ($69-89 per eve), but have a better relationship with DU. You selected a great travel company, and should not experience any problems with your reservations or request. Contact DU, and ask them to make a "note" of your preference. Good luck, Jack. How do you contact DU ? , Do you just use the link to make a reservation and the credit card form or can you contact them first via email and ask questions.

You can use either method. Just be sure to reference your reservation information in your email. DU should process your request and confirm it with a reply. You may also use the form on the www.swandolphin.com website. Also, reference your DU reservation information, and post your specific requests.

When I was staying at the BC in January I zipped over to the Dolphin to see about my request for a handicapped accessible room (teacher's rate) for my next visit and, to my surprise was told that I had been assigned a room with a fantastic view of Epcot and the fireworks.....Teachers rate, not HA. Haven't decided what to do about it yet. Anyone happen to know what kind of views are seen from the Dolphin HA rooms? ....Or...Anyone know whether or not the bathrooms of rooms with fantastic views come with grab-bars or easy-entry showers?

Just got back from a 7 night stay at the Dolphin which was wonderful I had the nurses rate of 129.00 and we had the waterfront view/ boardwalk view and were able to see Illum. perfectly. We could even here (somewhat) the music. Our room # was 7083 on the east side with a balcony. My only request were for a renovated room and that the 3 rooms be located close together. Renovated room we got however our rooms were not close together. 7083, 7020, 8126. It was not that big of a deal. The rooms were very nice and the BEDS WERE WONDERFUL!!!!! I just can't say enough about them The maid service was very good also. We will definetly stay there again Not to mention at such a great price
