Dolphin Resort - what are the transportation options to MK and AK?

Hello all, I'm taking my 10 yr old niece in August and I'm thinking about staying at the Dolphin resort. I stayed there for one night 20 yrs ago and really liked it, I'm hoping I will again. I will not have a rental car unless you can all convince me it would be the most cost efficient way to go because someone mentioned to me that we'd have to pay for private transportation. If I had a rental, would we have to pay for parking as well? We're visiting MK, AK and TL. Any thoughts or advice is greatly appreciated.

You have your own buses or you can Uber. That's all I can think of outside renting a car!

I was avoiding this suggestion because I selfishly don't want a bunch of extra people vying for spots on the early buses when we are at Boardwalk!

I’ve never seen more than one other group on those early buses. Esp for AK. Nobody’s trying to get up that early

So there ARE buses from the Dolphin to the parks?

I’m referring to the Disney buses.

But yes the Swan/Dolphin run their own buses to MK and AK since Covid. At AK they drop you off closer than the Disney buses even, but the problem is going to MK they drop you off at the TTC.

Personally I never bother with them and just use rideshares.

Swolphin runs free buses to AK, MK (via TTC) and DS (via Westside).

May want to consider a rideshare for the morning for TL to avoid the xfr at DS since Disney buses use the Center Marketplace. If you opt for BB instead of TL you can xfr quicker at AK since it’s not as much walking between hotel shuttle buses and Disney buses.
