Dolphin Help Needed

We have stayed there several time but we ususally just stay in a standard room.

On our last trip we had an Epcot view with a balcony. Is that considered to be an upgrade?????

We have roughly 4500 starwood points from our trips and was wondering if it would be worth it to use some to upgrade.
What would be probably get?

We really like the Epcot view of fireworks and we need to queen beds. Not for sure if the suite would be worth it or not. How many beds do they have?

Please help!!!

An Epcot view with balcony is an upgrade. I would first see if you can get a comp upgrade.

A complementary upgrade is a request for an upgrade at check-in at no additional cost. Keep in mind that it is just a request and not guaranteed.

An upgrade to a Jr. Suite at the Dolphin is 10,000 points per night. To upgrade to a balcony room or club level is 1000 points per night. Hope this helps.

Sorry all for my goof. I was thinking of WDW hotels when I made my comment on complementary upgrades. I understand that it is different for the Swan and Dolphins hotel because of the starwood points you earn. My only excuse is short-term memory problems.

Thanks for all of the information.

I knew the room with the balcony had to be an upgraded room. It was too good to be a standard room.

Hopefully we will get another room like that on our June trip.
