Dolphin Excursion

Anyone know if Disney will allow a 2 1/2 old child on the dolphin excursion? Is there any charge? Would you even recommend it for a child that young?

I don't think Disney allows it, but I am pretty sure www.shoretrips.com does. That's what we're considering doing in St. Martin with our 1 1/2 year old. I don't think there's a charge for the child through shoretrips.com. I am also curious to hear if anyone would or would not recommend this.
