Dolphin Discounts

We are going down to celebrate our anniversary in April 2005. I have already reserved SSR but want to add a few nights at the Dolphin. We usually get a resort view with balcony. I don't want to make a reservation at rack rate for that. We are eligble for Teacher,gov.AAA,Starwood or AP discounts. Anyone know when they historically release those discounts? I have my heart set on a specific room.

The teacher discounts are standard at 149 a night I think for the Dolphin and a little more for the Swan. I think the teacher discounts are the lowest you can get. Did you try calling yet? Its probably not too early because I don't think the teacher discounts expire.

I'm eligible for the teacher discount too, but I haven't even thought about using it yet. I'm curious, what do you think makes the Dolphin so appealing?

The hotel has no discounts yet for that time frame. We love our corner room for its wonderful resort view and large balcony.

You are all making a GREAT decision going to the Swan and Dolphin. They are too really great hotels. And OMG, the heavenly beds are so great. I wish my bed was that good. I fell asleep so fast, I wasnt even In the covers all the way. The beds are GREAT!!! (It sucks going home to your bed though) have fun!
