I'm at my 5 day mark and wondering if it's really worth it to upgrade with points to club level. I've tried to search the forums to get a better picture of what they offer but am struggling to find what I'm looking for. So - do you think the Dolphin Club Level is worth it?

Thanks.

Yes, it was worth it for us. We used points to upgrade to the cl at the dolphin in November.

It was so convenient to walk right outside our door for breakfast and evening snacks. The food is made by the hotel and everything tasted so good. I've heard the selections are fewer than what the other disney properties offer on their concierge levels but we were more than satisfied. We weren't rushed while eating or discouraged from eating as much as we wanted. The hospitality was terrific.

We stayed on the 12th floor, faced the swan, and had a nice view of Epcot's fireworks. You can also ask for turndown service.

I'm not really sure if I think it's worth it or not. The Club Level rooms do not have balconies - and we really enjoy sitting out on our balcony, watching the people and the fireworks at night.

Also, we found that we never made use of the evening snacks! We were always out and about during those hours, and we never felt like taking the time out of our schedule to race back to the hotel, just for a few snacks.

But, on the other hand - the breakfast and bottles of water were very nice!

I guess I wasn't much help at all, was I? LOL!

but requested a non-club level room as we wanted a balacony and a closer view of Epcot. They said they usally don't do this anymore (it was once a very popular option) but for the week we were there, there was a major software convention there and all of the Club Level rooms were booked. It was a bit of a walk but the food and service is great. The breakfast was exactly what we needed and it was nice to be able to grab a few water bottles on the way out and to the parks. We only got by twice for the evening refreshments but the breakfast made it worth to us.

Enjoy! We LOVE the Dolphin!

I enjoyed the club level at the Dolphin last year. However, it's not anything special. It's just about the same as any other executive or club level lounge. Coffee, juice, high-carb food selections. The view is nice :).

We paid for Club Level at the Dolphin and didn't think it was worth it - we were there between Christmas and New Years and the lounge, which is pretty small, was always packed. They even ran out several food items. Even more disappointing is the fact that the rooms are NO different than other rooms, and as mentioned, none have balconies. As a matter of fact, you can easily end up with a view of the parking lot if you end up on the wrong side of the hall - we did, and I was not a happy camper that I paid a premium.

That being said, the convenience of breakfast in the lounge is nice - and if you can get it for "free" using points, go for it. I would request 12th floor so you don't have to get on the elevator to get to the lounge. We were on 14, the other club floor, and it was less convenient.

Just called Starwood and they said they didn't have Club Rooms available during my stay. I will ask for priveldges upon check in - and if we get it - great - if not, then I'll have plenty of points for a free stay elsewhere. Thanks for all the input.
