Just got back from the Swan and Dolphin. We were there for Pres day weekend. Ok lets just say we didnt have the best experiance, but not the worst we could have had either. I am a Gold Starwood Preferred Guest and we were hoping for an upgrade. When we checked in i asked and they said they could give us a balcony room it was not renovatred, but they said they could not get us one even without a balcony. We took it. When we got on the hallway on the 9th floor we could smell the stale smoke smell. When we got in our room we could also smell the smoke that they tried to cover up with a strong orange spray. I called to ask why we were given a smoking room when we had asked for non. They said we were in non-smoking and that nothing else was available. WE found out later that they try to convert Smoking to non during high occuppency. WE finally complained enough and got a non smoking renovated room, but we would have to leave the dolphin after one night and go to the swan. That was a pain, but they gave us our room for $99 a night. That was a great deal. The beds were nice, but not just like the Westin beds we have slept on in the past. When we moved to the Swan we had trouble gertting our roll away bed ,but they ended up not charging us for it. Over all we had a good time. The resort is nice, but to business like. It is just not very Disney. They also need to renovate Tubbies. The selection is not great and the place seems a little dirty. If you have any Questions just aks.
