Does anyone know how much the custom made dolls in Germany cost???

Thanks!!!

Hi, my daughter started collecting these Engel Puppin(spelling??) dolls a couple of years ago!! She loves to make a doll on our trips and it is a COOL souvenier!!

I am almost positive that they are $135/145ish for the doll in a regular outfit. I believe they are $40/50 more if you choose a Disney outfit. I may not be exactly correct on the prices, but very close - to give you an idea. You choose the head with the face/eye color you want, the hair, style, the clothes. It is always fun.

Last time we went -Thanksgiving - Helmut Engel was there signing dolls. I know he will be there again around that time next year. He comes out with a special Xmas limited edition doll each year. I think it was about $160. He only makes 30 of them, though. He did tell me that the doll would be St. Lucia this year and it would be MUCH more $$$$. (don't know why - but that is what he said) My daughter's name is Lucia and that, I believe, is why he told me!!

Enjoy!! :earsgirl:

I bought one for my DD last February. It was $150 including stand and tax, in a "regular" dress.
