dollar store in dtd

i read on another thread there is a dollar store in downtown disney. i was in dtd in june and don't remember seeing this store. where is it and what type of stuff do they have????????? tia!

It's not technically a dollar store. They sell stuff for under $10. They sell disney pens... disney erasers...stickers... There's lots of little things. I think they also sell disney cups too. I can't remember.. there's too many stuff there and we were in a rush. There's the grag bag for $6.00 and I bought 2 for my children. It was worth it. This store is somewhere near the bus stop at the Marketplace. I would like to go back there again...

There's an "under $10 store" located between Goofy's Candy Kitchen and the new Pet Store. The $10 store is actually just an outdoor covered walkway located between the two stores. The set of stores is located caddy-corner to Rainforest Cafe, on the lakeside side of DD.

It's called Mickey's Mart, and it's between Disney Tails and Disney at Home.

*laughs* so I guess this means that WDW is 10 times as expensive as the real world .... that sounds about right. This proves that I have expensive taste

The "dollar" store is where Pooh's Garden Shop used to be, by Disney at Home.

I think everything is under $10.

They had some good deals, but then they also just had regular price stuff that you could get anywhere, that just was under $10.

I agree, the grab bags of stuff were worth it. Both my nieces got some pretty cool stuff.

Personally though, I miss Pooh's Garden Shop!

And while I'm at....I also REALLY miss the old Disney Home store! They had so many COOL things in there and the new store doesn't seem to have nearly as much and what they doesn't seem as unique as the stuff in the old store was.
