Dollar Rental - Grosvenor Resort, Lake Buena Vista question?

Hi, we are planning a trip from the UK to Florida for 2007 and are currently looking into Car Rental in the area. We are booked into the All-Star Movie Resort, and the best price from the UK seems to be with Dollar. I see the have a pick up place at the Grosvenor Resort in Lake Buena Vista.
Does anyone know how far this is from the Movie Resort, and how I would best get there? I presume it's OFF Disney World and the Disney Buses don't go there? Any ideas?

The Grosvenor is technically on Disney property, but it isn't a Disney-owned hotel so Disney transportation doesn't go there. You'll see it listed on some maps as one of the Downtown Disney Hotels. You can take a bus from All-Stars to Downtown Disney (the Marketplace is closest), and then have about a short walk to the Grosvenor. The other option would be a cab - figure about 10 minute drive and $10 fare.

Dollar used to have a van that picked you up at your hotel. Call and ask. But the other option is to walk from DTD I don't think it is that far.

I think the DTD bus and then walk is your best option, but if you're planning to pick up after a day in a park you have another option too. You could take one of the Grosvenor's own busses from any Disney park. They pick up in the parking lot at Epcot, MGM and AK and at the TTC at the MK.

FWIW, I think that a cab will cost more than $10. I took a cab to AKL from Pop Century and it was $17 each way with tip.

dollar offers shuttle service, you have to call 407-583-8009 to arrange it, they will pick you up within so many miles (5 I think) of the hotel.
