Dollar Car Rental - Rates lowered

I got a great weekly rate on Dollars Website, it is down from the previous rental I reserved. The rate is right off their website, under city specials.

It helped me. I too am going the last week of September (25-30) and was able to book Dollar compact for $191 instead of the $250 rate I currently have with Alamo.

Hoping the prices drop even more as it gets closer!

Have you (or anyone) used Dollar before out of Orlando's airport? Is it on site or a shuttle bus?

Dollar is on-site. We have used them in the past and have a reservation with them for Aug. I will only do on-site agencies so Dollar is definitely on-site.

Do you know if the rates extended till the end of October?
I must be having a senior moment since I can't find the "City" Specials.
Is that where you enter the location on the search for specials page? I did not see anything past the end of July.
My current rate is $143 plus taxes for $201 total from Alamo.

If you start the reservation and do not add any codes and see what rate they give you it comes up with "CITY SPECIALS" in the middle of the car list.

Thanks for the info fellow New Jerseyan;much appreciated. Unfortunately the total amount was not better than what I got at Alamo. I noticed the rates have been higher at all the sites for the week we are going (10/22-29).

FYI, I used this site to get my rate: http://www.carrentalsavers.com/
I found them to have the best info as to sites with specials. The special code I used beat everybody by at least $20.

BTW, have fun in August and try to keep cool!
