Dollar car rental at Grosvenor and distance to DTD

We're planning on renting a car at MCO, visiting family and returning the car near WDW. We're staying at CSR. If we rented from Dollar, they have a return at the Grosvenor resort near DTD. Has anyone done this? Can you walk to DTD from the hotel?

I believe Grosvenor is right across the street from DTD. I think it is a divided road so be careful walking. We are doing the same the same thing in April.

Note that across the street is a 5-minute walk in this case. There's a busy street to cross, but with a light and cross walk.

Pretty easy trip from the Marketplace Side of DTD. Keep in mind DTD itself is pretty big and the walk from the West Side of DTD to the Marketplace isn't short.

We rented from the Dollar counter at the Grosvenor on our last trip. As everyone says, it's a 5 minute walk, just across the street from where the Disney buss stops are located for the Marketplace end of DTD. You shouldn't have any problems!

I don't know if they'll do it the other way, but we are renting from them from Disney, and they have a complimentary shuttle to come get us from POP.

We rented from Dollar there in December. They picked us up at ASMu that morning and we took the car back after their lobby desk closed. We just filled out a little form and dropped the form and the key in the slot at the desk. We took our grocery bags with water and a few other items, walked across the street and got on the bus that took us back to the ASMu. Very easy to do.
