Hi All,
This is my first time to post but have been reading for quite some time. We are leaving for Disney on the 9th of March and arrive at 12:30 p.m. We are planning on Dinner at Crystal Palace on the 9th and then the EMH at the Magic Kingdom. We have reservations the next morning the 10th at CRT and then are planning to hop to MGM and later Epcot for EMH. This is where the real question lies. I was thinking of taking the kids back to MK the morning of the 11th for Morning EMH and then breakfast at Chef Mickey at 10:30 followed by hopping to Animal Kingdom and then back to Polynesian for dinner at 5:30. We don't leave until late on the 11th and I was planning to do Animal Kingdom EMH and then Breafastsaurus at 10:30. Due to the fact that we are staying at the Boardwalk Villas I was wondering if you think we will be wasting a lot of time by going back to MK so many times.

Also, have I over done it with the character theme? My kids are 7, 9 and 16 and since it is our first time at Disney I am afraid that I am trying to fit to many "character" interactions into our first visit.

Help! I am a little confused and would love any input I could get.

I would just say that each time you hop, you are taking some time to do it. When you travel to do a Character meal, and then hop back to do a park, that is taking some time.
It just depends on how many character meals you want to do, and total number of days to do the parks. The meals are great, but mine really want time to do the rides. You know your kids the best.

I guess that I am most confused of the time that it takes to get from the Boardwalk Villas to MK. Do I really have to plan for an hour each way? We really only have 3 1/2 days in the parks and I want to make sure that they get to see as much as they can without overwhelming them. When I look at the map it looks like it is really quite a ways away.

Travel time is long sadly from BWI to MK. I would cut back on some of the character meals. One or two should be plenty of those. If you have your own car, you can drive to all the parks and park for free to cut down on the travel time. A suggestion would be to stay at a monorail hotel GF, Poly, or CR. The monorail makes jumping from MK to Epcot a breeze. You would then take a bus or drive to AK and MGM. It's great that you have a plan. Start out with it, if it feels too much then you can edit it a bit. You can always cancel PS or save some attractions for your next visit to WDW. Good Luck, I'm sure you will have a great time. :flower:

The Villa was a gift from my husbands boss so we will definitely be staying there. I think I will cancel the Chef Mickey and Breakfastosaurus and we will save those for next time. You guys have been so great, it gets a little overwhelming when you are a first timer. Though the excitement is building because we are only 17 days away. :cool1:

I think cutting those will make it easier to see more of the things your kids want to do. I think sometimes it is stress to make the PS on time if you have too many. Have a blast!

One or two character meals would be plenty, the kids will want more time int he parks rather than sitting and eating. I suggest attend the first one and let the others go and spend more time in the parks.... :sunny:
