Doing the hoop Dee doo

i like the idea of going & think it looks fun;
However-I don't eat meat & don't drink alcohol...

I've read there are vege options available-
Are they made to order?
Or only set items?

The drinking aspect-I'm OK being sober around folks drinking-but not if they're too far gone...
Does this happen?

The drinking isn't too out of hand, it's mostly families and the show isn't long enough to get completely drunk imo. We have family members who are sober and I would not hesitate to bring them to the hoop de doo.

Not sure about made to order, I always thought they offered items that were available at Trail's End buffet.

I've been to HDDR twice and have never seen anyone get drunk. As PP said, the show isn't long enough to get drunk and they are serving food the entire time you are there.

Been to HDD several (5+) times and never seen anybody "too far gone". The free beverages are beer (light, not very high ABV) and sangria which also didn't seem to be really high alcohol content. Combined with all the food you get its really not something that happens.

HDD is a really fun family time... its in the frontier by not a saloon! Enjoy.

Drinking non-issue, even if a group have a lot with the show style you probably won't notice.

Food - search about some have reported in on this. Sounds like they may offer you a pasta item from Trails End to add to the meals veggies. For sure have number of guests that are "vegetarian" eaters noted on reservation so they are prepared.

This is a few years old so it may vary but it explains well with photo what was offered.
