After a long talk with my boyfriend and a lot of thinking back and forth. I've decided that I'm going to apply for the Cultural Representative Program with WDW. I think it would be a lot of fun and I've done entry level positions before when I was in HS. The pay won't be great but it's all about the experience!

I'd be put into the Canadian Pavilion. So maybe in the next year you will all see me there! I'm going to apply and see what happens. You only live once right? Also when I get older and get into a career doing things like this will be near impossible.

If I had any ounce of performance talent I'd audition to be a performer but I know that won't happen haha.

I blame the boyfriend for my obsession with Disney, at least it's a great obsession to have :D

I say go for it! I really wish I had done something like that when I was in my early 20s rather than now when I am full in on a career with a mortgage etc... :thumbsup2 My brother (who went with us to WDW) is going to encourage his kids to try it when they are of age; his friends son did it a few years ago and worked at Le Cellier and loved it.

Good luck eh!
Hope it works ooot! :flower3:

Good luck!

I went to Japan for 2 years at that point in my life. It was definitely worthwhile and I got a lot out of the experience. Doing something different before you become career focused is an excellent decision.

Keep us posted.

Thanks everyone!

I'm going for an interview for a job related in my field (Computer Science) next week. I'm going to apply for WDW pretty soon here. I do want a back up plan in case one or the other doesn't work out for me.

Working at Disney for a year would be pretty awesome! I worked at McDonald's for 6 years so entry level jobs with high standards I'm already familiar with. Disney will be a lot more high standard though that's for sure. Most people have seen how bad McDonald's can get haha.

Good Luck!! Hope to be able to see you at the Canadian pavilion next year!

You're all going to give me a hard time if you see me there aren't you? haha. Now I'm scared since I won't recognize anyone ;)
