Doing laundry at Art of Animation questions

We will be staying at Art of Animation next month for our last night of our trip and I will want to do one last load of laundry before we leave, I never take dirty clothes home from vacation. How do you go about paying to use the washers and dryers at AoA? Will they take plastic, credit card or even a Disney gift card? Are you able to charge it back to your room by chance?

I believe the washers/dryers at all resorts (unless you are DVC) are credit card only. At least this has been my experience. I wish they would change it so that Magicbands could be used. I like to do our laundry while we swim, and then I’m left with my credit card and nowhere to keep it while I’m in the pool. More than once I’ve stashed it in the front of my swimsuit.
