Doing a split stay??

As a first time potential renter-is it ok to rent mon-fri-check out for 2 days then check back in on the Sun to fri again?The reason being we are on a budget but I still like nice accomodation and was thinking of staying 2x 5 nights in DVC and 2 nights at pop on the middle fri and sat.?From the points calculator here it seems to be double for a fri and sat night than the rest of the week.Thanks guys. Is it booked as 2 seperate bookings?

We did just that this trip and we are doing it again next trip. Yes I believe it will count as 2 seperate bookings.

This time we are going for 3 weeks so I think our plan will be arrive tuesday stay 10 nights then stay fri,sat and sun at Universal then back to Disney for the rest!
