 I know my friends on the Budget Board will appreciate and share my excitement! So happy to have that payment done and out of the way! :dance3:

On to the next bill....

Congratulations!!! :thumbsup2

I'm working on getting our Visa paid off.

Congrats!!!!!!! I will be paying mine off in August and can't even begin to imagine how good that will feel.

Good job! Even better if you won't need to get another vehicle for a long time.

I paid off the minivan recently. Now we have the pickup, tractor, and the mortgage. Those are three things we won't be replacing for a long time, if ever, so those won't be replaced with a new payment (unlike the minivan...which will need to be replaced in a few years).

I have resolved to put $500 additional each month to those debts. I know I need to tackle one at a time- I did it on the mortgage this time, but I think I will concentrate on the smallest one (pickup). If I keep it up, I can have all three paid off in 4 years!

You're right! I will NOT be getting another vehicle any time soon! I paid off a 2005 Toyota Highlander with 92,000 miles but it really is in mint condition and I only drive 6 miles to work. I hope this vehicle lasts another 10 years!!!

Congratulations! We recently paid off my student loans and that felt great. We are focused on my Dh's car (1 year remaining, though we may pay it sooner). After that we'll only have the mortgage left. It feels so good to get rid of expenses.

Congrats on paying off your car!! :)

We became debt free in October (everything but the house) and then DH decided it was time to replace my 'beater' minivan in February. Those 4 months were the most carefree months I've had since I became an adult and started having bills LOL!

18 months though and we plan on having this one paid off - I am counting down the days lol!

Congrats!

We paid off our one the other week too. I thought we had one more payment on it so I was very surprised and happy to get the title in the mail! I just bought a new car though so we still have payments on that one (we only overlapped one month) but it is so nice just having one car payment instead of two. Now I just hope DH's car makes it another 4-5 years until my car is paid off and we can start the cycle again. We unfortunately both have long commutes and put a ton of miles on our cars :sad2:

Congrats! I know how excited you are...my last payment comes out on the 31st!

Congratulations!
