OMG I just saw a photo of this and it looks so yummy! Are they as good as they look? What types of candy bars can you get them made with? My DD and I are DROOLING!

They are quite tasty!

When I had one at Cookes of Dublin, they didn't ask what type of candy bar I wanted and I didn't see a list of choices. So, my guess is that they only do Snickers.

But yes, they are yummy. I'm looking forward to getting another one when I'm there in a couple weeks.

What is a doh bar? Can you post the photo and describe it? Thanks.

Its a deep fried Snickers bar on a stick. I haven't had one, so I can't describe the batter, but I've heard a lot about them from friends who have spent time in the UK. It sounds a little gross to me, but I've got to try one just because I've heard so much about them!

In July I had one (finallly): the Doh bar was a Snickers, and the batter was very much like a funnel cake batter. It was outstanding!!

I shared one of these with my DH last month. The snickers bar was all ooey gooey melty yummy:thumbsup2 It was incredibly rich tasting though, really glad I didn't have my own.

I should have mentioned that the batter reminded me of funnel cake batter.

Also, if you want a "light" version that you can try at home... just put a snickers on a plate and throw it in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Then use a fork to enjoy.

I enjoy them with and without the batter. :goodvibes

Ok, I couldn't find the pic I took (or it might not have lasted long enough for me to snap a pic, I don't remember now...) :rolleyes1

So, I just borrowed one from the "Food Porn" threads... :goodvibes
