Does Your Subway Restaurant Have The Computer Ordering Screens?

The Subway by my office just put these ordering screens in. What chaos!! I like them for myself but with so many people computer-impaired, it just wasn't going well.

I put my order in quickly, got out of there, got all the way back to my desk, only to find that they forgot to put my baby spinach and tomatoes on my sandwich. Checked my receipt and, sure enough, I ordered it.

Hopefully it will all smooth out. Right now, I'm eating a very boring turkey, cheese, and mayo sandwich.

I have not seen these at any Subways yet but they sound similar to the systems that they have at WaWa (convenience stores) here. You just touch the screen to order the sandwich you want, toppings, etc. It was a little hectic when they first came out but they seem to work very well now, I love zipping in there, ordering my sandwich and by the time I grab a drink and pay my sandwich is usually ready. Even though sometimes, things to get forgotten, like pickles!!!! but that just goes along with fast food type places I think since I always order things with no tomato and about 1/4 of the times it still has it!!

Yeah, I am familiar with the WaWa ones. I guess what's different here is that this particular Subway, since it is situated between 3 huge office buildings, gets quite the "lunch rush". I was there and we had about 25 people all trying to use the 3 computers. My Wawa never gets a crowd like that.
