Does your state charge a sales tax when shopping online?

It's very sad to watch elderly on fixed incomes having to sell property they have lived in for 30+ years because they cannot afford the property tax any more.

Here in Georgia you stop paying the portion of your property tax that goes towards schools when you reach anywhere from 62 to 65, depending on which county you live in. So you look forward to a 90% drop in your tax bill.

I bought something online today and they charged sales tax for my state.
