...or do you go with other family members, or even travel there alone?
I know it's not for everybody!

I am very very lucky - DH loves Disney as much (or more) than I do.

When we were just dating, we talked about going somewhere fun together. I suggested WDW, and of course his reaction was :scared::scared::crazy2::crazy2:

Well, after much coaxing and saying stuff like "it's not just for kids" about a million times, he agreed. Now, 12 years later, he can't get enough of it. Now HE is the one saying "let's plan a trip to WDW!!"

DH went on the first trip 21 years ago and hasn't been back since! He absolutely hated it. I took the kids by myself for years until they were finally "Disneyed Out" (their words not mine). I know get my fix by taking my nieces.

My DH and my DD both love Disney as much, if not more, than I do. Actually, Disney holds a special place with all of us, but I have several more trips under my belt than either of them so I am just ready for a little break to try something else. We will go on a cruise next April, instead of our annual Disney trip, but DD keeps asking why we can't then go to Disney when she gets out of school in June. I keep telling her, do you want Disney or college funds!!??

:cutie: My fiance loves Disneyland but not as much as I do, or at least he says that until he goes there and he is like a little kid.

We are planning for Disneyworld, he is more excited for that.

Sadly, no. DS and took our first two trips without DH, and he finally agreed to go in Jan of this year. He had an okay time, says he thinks everyone should go at least once, but he said he won't go more than once every 5-10 years. DS and I are taking our November trip without him.

So much for DVC... :sad1:

Oddly enough, after our August trip to Chicago, which he's always wanted to do, he actually ended up admitting that he liked Disney more than Chicago! :rotfl:

Maybe there's still hope for him after all... :lmao:

Nope; he's been 3x. Once as a teen and family drama stopped him from enjoying it. Once when my DD was 3 and again when she was 8. He's done, but we're not, so we go without him!

I was the one who voted "other" because there is always one!:thumbsup2

Truly the reason I voted other is because there wasn't the heck no option.

My dh does go to WDW with me once a year so we can bring our neices and nephews and visit with them. He does enjoy watching them have a good time and now that they are older they know that he much prefers taking them golfing, going to Tampa to watch a football game and out to eat than go to the parks.

After 45 plus stays at WDW since 1992, DW is burned out on WDW. We are going back this Dec. taking my nephew and his wife with us. I made reservations to go back in Jan. of next year just by myself. After I made the reservations, DW said she would go with me. She enjoys the WL, but is tired of the parks.

Yes, DH enjoys visiting Disney World too. Thank goodness, LOL! I enjoy the planning aspect more than he does, though he does participate in the planning. But we both enjoy going on the actual trip together about equally, though I would give me the slight edge there.

My parents raised me as a Disney kid. When I first met my boyfriend, he had never been to Disney World, even though he spent his entire life one hour away. He is now a happily addicted passholder! Same for my college roommate/best friend. Since meeting me two years ago, she has made 4 trips with me to the World, and she lives in New York! We're tentatively planning our next trip together in October 2010, and now her parents are itching to come along. I think the Mouse should be giving me some kind of kickback. ;)

In all seriousness, I consider myself very lucky indeed. :cloud9:

Oh DBF like it as much if not more then myself or the kids! LOL He's the one who says "when are we going back?" He asked me that yesterday, and we got back from DL Sunday night...LOL
