Does your dog ever sleep like this?

Awwww. That looks just like our chocolate lab Jake. He sleeps like that all the time.

All the time! Either that, or Missy is on her side like normal, but she'll have her head proped up on a chair leg.

Only picture I have of her is this one, though!

I don't have any pics to post but Charlie, my chocolate lab, does that all the time. He's a total goofball!!!!

These pics are so cute! :dog: My collie puppy sleeps like this all the time too! :goodvibes

Yep, my dog Bill (evil mutt he is) sleeps like that all the time, with his business exposed to the world. I always grew up with female dogs because my Mom thought the male dogs were gross. First time she saw Bill sleep like this at her house, she wrinkled her nose, waggled her hand in his general direction and demanded , "Ricky, covah zat up! daso guh-ross" (said in a japanese accent, not a german one)

This might be to big, but I'll fix it. My Baby sleeps like that sometimes, but this is the regular position. On his favorite bed looking out the window.

I've seen Hershey do this in our presence when she is awake, but I can tell she seems to be acting silly and showing off. I found it funny however to see that she actually was sleeping like this on her own this morning; I hadn't been downstairs in a few hours since I work from home upstairs. She was completely fast asleep!

Do your dogs ever do this?!

Laura

I could have posted that picture myself! We have a chocolate lab named Hershey, and that's exactly how she sleeps - all the time! It cracks me up!

She also "talks" in her sleep. Drives me crazy when I'm at the computer late at night trying to work.

Isaiah will sometimes stick his front paws straight up. The little freak will also sometimes sleep with his eyes open.

Yep. Ted sleeps like that a lot. He's a Springer Spaniel. I don't know if that has anything to do with it though.

He also likes to sleep with his head under something (like the coffee table) and the rest of him sticking out.

Dogs are really such funny little creatures! :goodvibes

Our little guy sleeps like that too. He likes to sleep under the covers with us. I wonder how he breathes under there? :rotfl2: What is really funny is when he is under the covers by himself. All you can see are four humps in the blanket from his legs being staight up. LOL

Yep, mine does that too. Don't they say they are very comfortable and trusting when they sleep that way?

Yes, it means that they are content and feel safe.

Mine does that too! And she also loves to sleep with her head propped up on something. But to me her funniest pose is the Marie Antoinette impersonation:
