Does your child have a Pixter Color?

I was looking at them but wondering if they are worth the $$. My dd has a Gameboy Advance that she hardly ever uses and I was wondering if this would keep her interest better. It's a little too expensive to take a guess and then have it sit in the closet (like the Gameboy!!)

We have the regular screen Pixter and my DD loves it. She uses it in the car quite a bit and sometimes takes it on the school bus. I was looking at the new color ones and was trying to decide if I wanted to get it for her.

I think it is worth the money. It is cheaper than the Gameboy and other digital type toys.

JAP, How old is your DD?

My DD wants this as well but she is 11yrs. With the software that they have I don't know if it's worth the money as I doubt it will amuse her that long?

It's on my maybe list right now!

One hint- A lot of stores (I think all walmarts should- My toys r us does to) have a demo Pixter Color on display. I'd be on the lookout and then play with it for a minute to see what it intales...

I think itd be a fun toy but for how long I dont know... -em

I just bought my 2 younger DD's Pixter Plus. It come with a nightlight. The girl at Toys R Us said it was also color but it does not say that on the package, plus it was cheaper!! Now I just have to find some cartridges that are good for them. Toys R Us didn't have many to choose from when I was there......
