Our cat has irritable bowel syndrome and I am looking for the best food to give her. I have been reading online that grain free is better for IBS, so I'm not sure if the Hills Science Diet food the vet recommended is good. I hear it has a lot of grain and fillers. I know the raw diet is good, but I just can't do that, I cannot chop up livers and hearts!
My kitty is old (17) and has been so healthy up to now. Right now I am giving her 4 HEALTH from Tractor supply and am thinking of switching to Petco's Natural Balance.

try blue buffalo healty holistic all natural no by products, corn, wheat, soy artifical preservatives, colors or flavors, i was paying $85.00 every six weeks for a shot to calm her stomach, no more shots in over a year, the flavors are duck, chicken, salmon & a new one turkey, it's about the same price as science diet, which my cat could not keep on her tummy. petsmart in my area is where i buy it.

many, many years ago when I used to work at a veterinary hospital we used to use tender vittles to help with diarrhea. No idea why it worked, but it did 9 times out of 10. I couldn't even tell you if they still make tender vittles, but it is worth a shot!!
