Does your building have a "13th" floor?

While riding in the elevator this morning, I realized that the floors were numbered as follows: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15.

Is this normal?

But yes, that is commonly done -- many buildings skip the 13th floor.

I stayed in a hotel without a 13th floor before. It's normal.

I guess it just seems really silly to me. I mean just b/c you don't call it 13, doesn't really make it the 14th floor!?

Most buildings do not have a '13th' floor, especially hotels.

The Contemporary Resort does not have a 13th floor. Not sure about the others.

No buildings here tall enough to have a 13th floor. I know that most though usually don't.

There aren't that many floors here, but we have 40 stores - numbered 3-12, 14, 16-19, 50-53, 58-78. There was never a #1(I supposed because they are equal, in a way), not 13, 15 is our distribution center, numbers in the 20's were once used for another division and a few have been closed over the years.

I work on the 13th floor of my building. Its 50 floors tall and the only on we dont have is a second floor. I guess they count the lobby as two floors because of the high ceilings.
