Hi There! Wondering if Windsor Hills has a restaurant/bar at the main pool area.

Thinking of staying here next February, but since I try to do as little cooking/preparing of food as possible on vacation, I wanted to know if we could get sandwiches/burgers when we are at the pool area.

Thanks so much!

All they have is a little store for small things, soda, candy, etc.. No restaurant or bar much to my dismay. There are LOADS of fast food places like 2 minutes by car. Also shopping centers. It would be nice if they had a place that served drinks and burgers and stuff like that though. But it is still a great place to stay!

Thanks for replying! I was afraid of that. We've stayed in tons of places in Orlando and I figured I'd finally give Windsor Hills a try.

But....I'm thinking I really want to be able to order a drink or burger at the pool. Makes me feel like I'm really on vacation. We enjoy hanging out at the pool area and this may just be the deal breaker.

Oh well....

Thanks again!!

Just wondering if you are staying in a condo, villa or townhouse. Because if you are staying in a house like we did with a pool you may feel differently. I also was very disapointed when I found out they had no bar or food stand by the pool, but we actually never used the pool! We stayed in our pool and had PLENTY of "cocktails" there! But I do understand what you are saying. Maybe one of these days they will realize what a big draw that would be for most people. Have fun!!!

Well I was up in the air over a condo, townhouse or private pool home. I totally agree with what you're saying about your own pool.

On the other hand, part of vacation to me is lounging in a chair and people watching around the pool. Kids also like to meet and play with other kids.

We've stayed at several timeshare resorts in the area over the years like Grande Vista, Orange Lake, Vistana Villages, etc.. This year we were at Bonnet Creek for the second time and I just loved having that option. I especially like it at the end of the day when the kids don't want to sit in a restaurant but want to swim and still need to eat something.

Guess I'll have to think about it more.

Thanks again!

Windsor Hills has lunch meat sandwiches and chips, ice cream, drinks, we ate lunch 3 or 4 days by the pool. Only thing you can't buy is alcohol.
